Zonaiteore is a new resource inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthat can be used in a variety of ways. With this ore, you can upgrade your Energy Cell to add more Wells. Additionally,Zonaiteore can be used to construct devices with the Autobuild feature.

Zonaitecan be hard to find at first, especially if you stick to the surface of Hyrule. Here, we are going to go over the best ways to farm this material. First, let’s take a look atZonaiteore on the Great Sky Island.
Sky Island Mining Cave
Very shortly after starting the game, you will be on theGreat Sky Island.Here, you can find tons of resources, as well asZonaiteore in the Mining Cave.
To quickly get to this cave,teleport to the Room of Awakening, where you began the game.From here, leave the cave. When you see the sky,take an immediate right and jump off the island.
Below, you will see minecart rails, as well as several cave openings.Head to the Mining Cave, which has some rails leading inward.It’s pretty dark in here, but you can use nearbyBrightbloom Seedto light up the area. Within this cave, you will findZonaite nodes,which can be destroyed to obtainZonaiteore.
Any ore deposit that you find willrespawn during the next Blood Moon.This applies to nodes throughout all three levels of Hyrule, and allows you to revisit to gain more materials.
Zonaite Ore In The Depths
Zonaiteore is themost prevalent in the Depths.While you can occasionally find the nodes scattered on the ground,it’s easier to farm if you head to monster camps.
In the Depths, monsters will occupy ‘camp’ areas. This camp may have some platforms and crates, as well as torches that allow you to spot them from a distance.
Within monster camps, you can also find severalZonaite nodes.Destroying these nodes is the best way to farmZonaiteore, however, you will first need to defeat the monsters nearby. Fortunately,monsters in the Depths will dropZonaiteore.This means that clearing out the monsters will result in additional ore for you to gather.
So, if you take on a monster camp,you will earn a hefty supply of ore from both the monsters and the nodes.
What To Do With Zonaite Ore
After gatheringZonaiteore, you may head to aForge Construct and purchase Crystallized Charges.These are thenused at a Crystal Refinery tomake an Energy Well,which provides you willmore power for your Zonai devices.
Zonaiteore also proves to be quite handyif you have the Autobuild feature unlocked. With the ore,you can ‘purchase’ missing parts of aschematic.For example, if you are looking to Autobuild the Fanplane, but happen to be missing just one fan,you can spendZonaiteore to create it.
