Diablo 4is not shy of providing references to previous games in the series. Items such as the Harlequin Crest and the famous Butcher enemy have both made their appearance, and Estuar’s landscape is no exception. The Hidden Camp from Diablo 3 was the primary hub for the Main Campaign’s second Act and you may remember it for its remote location and overview of the surrounding area.

Hidden Camp Location
The Diablo 3 Hidden Camp can be foundwithin the region of Kehjistan. Situated justNorth of the Denshar waypoint, the camp has clearly fallen under hard times and is now titledThe Forgotten Overlook. While in the previous game, you were treated to a scenic view of the Kejhistani capital ofCaldeum, the camp is nowinfested with Insectsand has an abandoned, disused aesthetic.
Due toKehjistan being the site of Act Fiveof the Main Campaign, it will typically take you quite a few levels before you’re able to gain access to the region. Additionally, the pathways leading into the camp itself are initially closed off with rubble,only opening up after Act Sixhas been completed.This requires you to complete the Main Campaign, so you could consider visiting this site as an endgame activity.
As Diablo 4 is set 50 years after the events of Diablo 3, the now empty camp has clearly undergone major changes, and provides little benefit for traveling players. There is still aHealing Wellat inside the Camp itself, butno quests or NPCsare present. You can see the former Waypoint half buried in the sand, but it is far from the thriving quest hub it once was.
Aside from its lore implications, the only benefits of traveling to the Hidden Camp are to claim itsAltar of Lilith(sunken under some wooden boards next to theHealing Well)or to complete theDerelict Tunnel Cellar,which lies on theSouthern path beneath the Camp.
