InRedfall, your main motivation is to escape the vampire-infested titular town. Yet, you can do other things in the meantime, such as help out your fellow survivors. Most of what you do for them is very serious and sentimental.

However, your task in the Intermission Snack mission is a bit more light-hearted. You simply need to repair a popcorn machine, so your crew can get quick access to the classic movie snack. Unfortunately, the task isn’t quite as simple as it sounds, as you don’t have the equipment required to get it working. This is how you find what you need and repair the machine.
Starting The Mission
The mission becomes availableafter you search the helicopter crashesand return to the Fire Station.
At this point, you should be able to find the broken popcorn machineright outside the sleeping area, on a shelf. Interact with the device to read the note stuck on it andbegin the mission.
Entering The Theater
The kit needed to fix the machine is atthe Overton Theater,which is towards thesouth of Old Town.
Once you get there,enter the building from the western side, either through the opening on the ground or the one on the roof.
Either way, this takes you toan area behind the stage.
Finding The Repair Kit
To find the repair kit, you need tohead down the stairs next to the green house set.
This takes you to a room with a dead body in a chair.
There’s no time for mourning, though, as you’ve got a popcorn machine to fix. So, gopast him into the next roomto find anold popcorn machinesitting on a shelf to the left.Next to it is the repair kit.
Repairing The Popcorn Machine
Once you’ve picked up the repair kit, you canreturn to the fire station.Head into the main room with the fire trucks to seethe blue silhouette of a popcorn machinenot far from the lockers.
Go over to it andhit the ‘repair’ prompt.This leads to an animation of you fixing the machine, which serves as the end of the mission.
As a reward, youreceive 800 experience pointson the spot. More importantly, you’re able to now actually make popcorn using the machine. As with any food item in the game, it can refill a bit of your health.
