Defeat Five Lynels To Get Majora’s Mask

To getMajora’s Mask, all you’ll need to do isbeat the five Lynelsin cages that surround it. You canenter safely, but when youinvestigate the chest, the fight begins.

The Lynels thankfully come at youone at a time, and theygradually get tougheras you finish one off.

The tricky part is thatthey’re covered in gloom, meaning their attacks not onlyhurt, butyou lose hearts to gloom when these Lynels hit you.

You’ll want tobring severalgloom-healing mealsalong with you into the fight, which can be made fromSundelion.

A simple recipe comes in a quest in Kakariko Village, called"Gloom-Borne Illness."

Don your absolutestrongest armorfor these battles, asLynels are notoriously toughenemies unless you’re excellent atflurry rushes and perrying.

You’ll start off relatively easy, but beware thatthe final Lynel is wearing armor, meaning you’ll need todestroy the armor before you can damage the Lynel itself.

Be sure tohaveBomb Flowersfor this part of the fight to handle the armor.

Hammers also work, but getting close enough to strike the Lynel may be tricky, especially as this is the last fight, and you’re likely low on weapons and meals if you get hit.

When the last Lynel goes down, the gloom around the chest dispels, andMajora’s Maskis yours.

While wearing the Mask, enemies are far less likely to notice Link, so use it to infiltrate enemy camps throughout The Depths.
