How To Increase Healing Potion Capacity
There is only one way of increasing your Potion capacity in Diablo 4. This is toincrease your Renown levelwith each of the five zones toLevel Two. This will immediately give you one extra charge per zone, all the way up tonine.
Leveling up your Renown can be a relatively quick process, especially if you focus on high-value activities such as clearingStrongholds. They give100 Renownper clear, and if you have been progressing the Main Campaign, getting up to Level Two should not take much time.
Activities that grant Renown
Thankfully, these Potion Capacity upgrades areaccount-bound, meaning they will automatically activate forall your other characterson that Battle Net account.
How To Increase Healing Potion Power
When it comes to upgrading your Healing Potion’s power, you will need totalk to anAlchemist NPC. Early in your adventure, you should receive aPriority QuestcalledHealing Potion Upgrading. This will take you to seeVeroka in Kyovashad, where you can now see all potion upgrades and their associated cost.
You canonly upgrade your Healing Potions once every ten levels(except atlevel 45), and you will be tasked with providing variousHerbsto facilitate the upgrade. These can range from the commonGallowvineto the rareFiend Rose. The Gold cost will also progressively increase with each upgrade level.
Most of thelater-level potions will needzone-specific Herbs, but if you haven’t been picking them up on your travels, don’t worry. Alchemists will allow you toRefineyour herbs into other varieties, meaning you can convert your Gallowvine into any otherMagic-level Herband vice versa.
Although this excludesFiend RoseandAngelbreath, it still allows you to bypass some of the collecting.
Upgrading a Healing Potion increasesboth itsinitial healingand itshealing over time. The amounts tend to coincide well with your current gear and level, meaning you should always be able to feel the impact a potion upgrade has on your health bar.
