One of the most versatile and sought-after titles is ‘The’, allowing you to customize your titles with a bit more character. However, unlocking this title is no simple matter, as you’ll need to complete a few different quests first. Below, you’re able to find exactly how to unlock ‘The’ as the first word of your title, and everything you need to do.
How To Get ‘The Bear’ Title
Having the word ‘The’ as the first word of your title comes from unlocking the title’The Bear'. This title unlocks after completing theAlly of the Bear Tribeseries of quests in the Fractured Peaks. The first three quests in this seriescan be completed in any order, but the final quest, ‘Call of the Ancients’, requires you tofinish the other three, first.
Shattered Tribute
Shattered Tribute can be found and accepted fromSenain the Bear Tribue Refuge in the Sea of the Heavens area of the Fractured Peaks. This quest involves delving into theHoarfrost Demise dungeontocollect 25 Ice Clan Bones.
Ice Clan Bones drop from Ice Clan enemies inside the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon, and nowhere else. After you gather all the bones, make your way back to Sena and deliver them to complete this quest.
The Beast’s Challenge
The Beast’s Challenge can be accepted fromGreganochin the Bear Tribe Refuge. For this quest, you’ll need to find andkill Kauller the Collectorand take a trophy from him to mount in the camp. After accepting the quest, head to themarked area on your mapto search for Kauller. His exact position can be seen on the map in the image above.
After killing Kauller and obtaining his head, return to Greganoch, then mount the trophy with the rest behind Greganoch to complete the quest.
Hammer Of The Champion
Hammer of the Champion can also be accepted by speaking toGreganochin the Bear Tribe Refuge. This quest tasks you withfinding the Grizzly Maul within the Rimsescar Caverndungeonto the south of the Bear Tribe Refuge. However, before you can access this dungeon, you need toclear the Malnok Stronghold.
To clear this Stronghold, you need todefeat three Ice Clan Stormcallers, then beat the bossRimescarandrekindle the shrine. Once you’ve done that, the Rimescar Cavern dungeon will be accessible.
Move through the dungeon until you find theImpaled Champion Baltok. Interact with this to get theGrizzly Maul, then return to the camp and present it to Greganoch to complete the quest. You’ll obtain a usableTwo-Handed Mace Grizzly Maulas a reward.
Call Of The Ancients
After you’ve completed Shattered Tribute, The Beast’s Challenge, and Hammer of the Champion, you can now talk toChieftain Glousin the Bear Tribe Refuge to accept the final quest, Call of the Ancients. Accepting this quest will unlock theHallowed Glacierdungeonin the camp, which you’ll need tofully completeto finish this quest.
Venture through the Hallowed Glacier with Chieftain Glous and slayCyhrachat the end of the dungeon to finish this quest and complete the Ally of the Bear Tribe challenge. Doing this will earn you the’The Bear' titlewords that you can use to customize your profile.
