The restriction of Pikmin on the field poses a great challenge for doing all you may with a limited squad. One of these challenges involves obtaining the Blue Onion in the Sun-Speckled Terrace. Here, we’ll look at how to obtain this onion without having to go hunting for Flarlic Onions.
How To Get The Blue Onion
The Blue Onion islocated south of the center Base location in the Sun-Speckled Terrace.You’llneed 30 Ice Pikmin, both Flarlic upgrades, and Oatchi’s Buff skillto be level three to obtain the onion without progressing to the next area.
Use Oatchi’s Ice Pikmin commandto sniff out Ice Pikmin if you need more.
Assemble a squad of 30 Ice Pikmin and ten Red Pikmin.Freeze the lake with your Ice Pikmin, then use the rest of your squad to build the wall on the left side of the lake. Next, gather all of your Pikmin and climb the wall before the ice melts.
Dig up the onion and use your Pikmin to transport the item as close as it can get to the lake; it should be on the ledge that Oatchi can jump up onto. Next, use your Ice Pikmin to freeze the lake again. Now,use your Red Pikmin and Oatchi to transport the onion back to the base.
Blue Onion In Serene Shores
If you’re unable to obtain the Blue Onion in the Sun-Speckled Terrace, it might be easier to obtain the one in the Serene Shores. This Blue Onion islocated east of the starting location, on top of the sandcastle.you may also move your base to this area for easier transportation.
Be wary of the Crusted Rumpupon top of the sandcastle. You’ll need to defeat it before you may move your base here.
To the east from here, build the wall and climb up to find the Blue Onion partially buried in a pond. You’ll need Blue Pikmin to reach this onion; luckily,they can be obtained from caves in the Blossoming Arcadia.Oatchi with alevel one Super Buff, level one Dig, and level three Divecan also be used to retrieve the onion.
