Essentially, this Amulet allows you touse your Resource pool as a barrieror secondary health bar, drastically reducing your damage taken. Of course, on resource-heavy builds, this Amulet can be detrimental, but on builds like theSorcerer’s Arc Lash buildthatdoesn’t use Mana, the Melted Heart of Selig can be extremely useful.

How To Get The Melted Heart Of Selig

As one of the seven Uber Unique items, the Melted Heart of Selig has avery low drop rate. First of all, for it to drop, you’ll need tobe at least level 85. Enemiesonly appear at this level in World Tier 4, so you’ll need to unlock this World Tier first before you even have a chance to get the Melted Heart of Selig.

You can unlock World Tier 4 by completing theFallen TempleCapstone Dungeon.

Duriel the Maggot King uber boss

Nightmare Dungeons, Helltide Events, and World Bosses have the best drop rate for Legendary items, so these will be the place to start grinding for the Melted Heart of Selig. Keep in mind thatlevel 85 enemies only appear in Tier 31 and above Nightmare Dungeons, so be sure to only use Nightmare Sigils at or above this level.

Echo Of Duriel

Added during the Season of Blood, the Duriel boss fight offers a pretty good chance at getting the Melted Heart of Selig, and any other Uber Unique items. This boss has a few steps you’ll need to take to summon it, detailed below.

To summon Duriel and fight him, you’ll need two items:two Mucus-Slick Eggsandtwo Shards of Agony. You can get Mucus-Slick Eggs by defeatingVarshan at World Tier 4, and you can get Shards of Agony by defeatingGrigoire, also at World Tier 4.

Once you have both of these materials, head to theGaping Crevasseto thesoutheast of Gea Kul in Kehjistan. Here, interact with thePestilent Altarto summon Duriel. This boss mainly usespoison damage, so you should definitely try to get yourpoison resistance as high as possible.

Although Duriel has ahigher-than-normal chance of dropping Uber Uniques, it’s far from guaranteed. You’ll need to spend quite a bit of time grinding Varshan and Grigore for their materials, then fighting Duriel. Still, this is a much better approach than endlessly grinding Nightmare Dungeons for the drop.
