Starting A Campfire
The simplest way to start a campfire is withFlintandWood.Flint can be found within ore nodes in caves and wells, while Wood can be gathered by chopping down most trees. Additionally, Flint and Wood canoften be found around stables, ready for you to take.

A Ruby is a type of gem that can also be found from ore nodes. When attached to a weapon,it will deal fire damage.
Flame Emitters
Flame Emitters are a type ofZonai Devicethatspew fire when active.If, for some reason, this is the only fire-making thing that you have on hand, you’re able to use this to make a quick fire.
The flames are quite strong,so this will create an upwardburst of wind that you can paraglide on.
Arrow Fusions
Lastly, you canfuse fiery materials to your arrowsto make fire arrows. Below, you can check out some of the items that will make fire when fused to an arrow.
When combined, these materials will cause fire to appear. These fused arrows can then be used toburn thorns, deal fire damage to enemies, or simply start a campfire.
Fiery Arrows aimed atBomb barrelswill cause them to explode, dealing damage. Keep this in mind when you see amonster camp with Bomb barrels strewn about.
Fires With Hylian Pine Cones
Hylian Pine Conesare a type of material that can be found around trees. The Pine Cone itself cannot start a fire, butwhen combined with a pre-existing fire source, the flames will grow.The more Pine Cones you use, the more the fire will grow, creating wind currents that you can ride.
If you want to make a strong fire immediately, you canthrow down some Flint, Wood, and a Hylian Pine Cone. Hitting this with a metal weapon will instantlycause a large fire.
This large blast of wind will go away. If you need the gust to continue, you will need to add more Pine Cones into the fire.
You can alsoshoot fire arrows directly at a Hylian Pine Cone for a quick burst of wind.For example, shooting a Fire Fruit arrow at a Pine Cone on the ground will create an upwards wind. This is temporary though, asthe fire burns on the grass, and will eventually go out.
