There are six special potions that you need to collect to get the Rainbow Potion. These potions are part of secret, hidden questlines withinDisney Dreamlight Valley.Despite being secret, we are here to help you figure out how to acquire all these potions.

The Brilliant Blue Potion requires a Blue Potato to be found. Colored potatoes are all around the valley waiting to be discovered and turned into potions. These quests will have you running around collecting obscure items in strange places.
The Blue Potato
Each colored potion requires its designated potato. It is worth noting that most of these potatoes will not be spawned into the world until after you havecompleted the Mysterious Golden Potato. The Golden Potato initiates this series of secret potato quests and will reward you with theGleaming Gold Potion.
Once you have the Gleaming Gold Potion,the Blue Potato will spawn into the world.you’re able to find the Blue Potato withinUrsula’s Lair. This is the mysterious cave in Dazzle Beach where you first found her, not her personal home.
After collecting the Blue Potato, you will have tofind other blue items around the world:
You will need the Blue Potato in conjunction with these other blue items to craft the Brilliant Blue Potion. These aren’t regular blue items you see every day, they are designed and spawned specifically for this quest.
You will need to walk invisible pathways to reach these items. These pathways will not unlock unless you have the necessary items in your inventory. This is why you must collect these items in the right order, as shown above.
How To Collect The Blue Shell
To find the Blue Shell,you must have Moana unlockedorat least have opened her Realm from the Dream Castle. The shell is located within her Realm.
Upon entering the Realm, there will be palm trees to your right, just before the ramp going up the hill. There is a space between thetwo palm treeswhere you will be able to walk on the water.
You want to reach the island in the distance and walk allthe way aroundit, to find the shell.
Walking this path will be hard since it is invisible. If you find you cannot walk where you need to go, you probably have tomake a wider turn or turn left or right a bituntil you find that invisible path again.
How To Collect The Blue Starfish
The starfish is located onthe island you first met Ariel on. If you haven’t found Ariel already, you have to head to the small raft onDazzle Beach(pictured above).The raft will take you to an island where you will find Ariel.
The Blue Starfish is past an invisible pathway along the water. As you enter the island, there will bea long peninsula to your far left. Walk all the way to the edge of the island here and start walking on the water.
Work your way through the invisible borders and head to theopening of sandin the image above, where the orange arrow is pointing. From the peninsula, you walk straight onto the water and then start heading right.
How To Collect The Blue Book
Head to the mysterious cave at Dazzle Beach. This is the cave in the grassy area, as seen in the photo above. The Blue Book is located all the way atthe bottom of the cave, where you must once again walk on water on an invisible path.
Ignore the rocks in the water and walk between the pillars and stones to your left. You have to access the Blue Book by walkingbetween the two stone archways. This is the second to last piece of the puzzle.

How To Collect The Blue Gem
The Blue Gem will be harder to find because it ishiding deep inside the Vitaly’s Mine.As you enter the mines, take note of thebroken mine trackdirectly across from the entrance. This is where you want to get to.
Walk deep through the mines,past the glowing mushrooms. Turn right directly past the mushrooms to reach the broken mine track that faces the entrance to the mines. From here, turn left. You will finda mine cart full of gems, with the Blue Gem on the floor next to it.
You will be able to just walk across an invisible path, even though there is no floor nor water connecting the track to this mine cart in the wall.
Craft The Brilliant Blue Potion
Head to any crafting table with all the items in your inventory. Combining them will create the Brilliant Blue Potion.
Note that you cannot consume this potion. You will need to find five other colored potions to be able to use them, combining them intothe Rainbow Potion.
The Rainbow Potion is the end goal of all this trouble with collecting hidden gems. The Rainbow Potion will be needed during an end-game quest to unlock a special companion.
