What Are Faded Plaques?
Faded Plaques are statues that can randomly appear throughout the world at certain predetermined locations. Below each Plaque is ahighlighted circlethat makes identifying them a bit easier. If you inspect the statue, you’ll see abroken sentence of wordsthat present ariddlefor you to solve.
To solve these riddles, you’ll have touse a specific emote from the emote wheelwhile standing in the circle in front of the Plaque. The emote you use depends on the words displayed on the Faded Plaque.
By solving this riddle, you’ll gain atemporary buff. The type of buff received also depends on which emote you use to solve the Faded Plaque. Additionally, the duration of each buff varies.
Each Faded Plaque can only be used once; trying to emote again at the Plaque won’t buff you a second time, for example. This will eventually reset, however, allowing you to use the statue again.
