How To Start Hidden Messages Of The Nilfgaardian Kind
To start your brief foray into the world of espionage, go toTriss' home in Novigrad,northwest of the Hierarch Square Fast Travel point.You’ll want to headwest, to a road going through a pair of arches.
You have tofinish the Novigrad half ofNever Trust Children,which takes place in the same area. If you’veaccidentally missed the encounter, this quest will not be playable.
Once there, look out for a pair of mensuspiciously walking away from a wall.Head to the wall anduse Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto find anexaminable brick.A letter hidden inside willstart the quest.
Following The Messages
The quest marker will lead you east toCrippled Kate’s,where you can find anothersuspicious brick in a wall.Once again,use Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto identify and interact with the brick to get a note.
This will lead you to thelast location,in Novigrad’s wealthier Gildorf district to the north.Geralt’s Witcher Senses will highlight a grate in yellow.Open it and head into the sewers.
After navigating through the tunnels, you’ll findthe chest in a corner.Before you can empty its contents, you’ll beambushed by a trio of drowners.Kill your assailants to claim your reward.
You’ll find50 crownsas well as arandom piece of armorin this crate, ending the quest.
