This quest can be difficult to reach, beingfar off the beaten trackbetweenByways and Duén Hen.Once you areroughly between either location,you will have togo eastuntil youreach a ruin populated with wraiths.
Try toFast Travel to Duén Henif possible. If you have not completedThe Mystery of the Byways Murders,Byways will be populated by high-level ghouls.
You will have topurge the area of wraithsto reach the treasure. Expect a difficult fight thanks to their numbers and ability to turn incorporeal.
The wraiths may bedifficult to remove.If you are struggling makeliberal use of Moon Dust bombsandYrdento force them into their vulnerable state. TheReliever’s decoctionwill also be particularly helpful.
Once you have killed the enemies,look for a body slumped against the stairs.The letter and key needed for the quest are found on it.
Finding The Chest
You will not have to look far toreunite the key with the chest.It isjust up the stairs,behind some barrels. you’re able to useGeralt’s Witcher Senses to highlight the chestif you are struggling to find it.
Unfortunately, the chest is also accompanied by anoonwraith or nightwraith,depending on when you arrive at the ruins. You will have to defeat it, too, before you may take your prize.
