The Druids need the Idol of Silvanus to complete this ritual. There are some people that want this Idol taken away from the Druids. It will be a hard task since every Druid in the grove surrounds the Idol.
How To Steal The Idol Of Silvanus
The Idol of Silvanus is worth700 Goldand will grant your party+1 Animal Handling and +1 Nature while in your inventory. The quest ‘Steal The Sacred Idol’ is given byMol, a Tiefling child in a secret hideout you need permission to access.
Stealing the Idol outright means initiating a war between the Druids and you andthe Tieflings. There are a couple of ways to steal the idol, but they have consequences.
If you use your Rogue to go invisible and try to steal it, the Druids will take notice immediately, and a fight will ensue.
You will automatically have tokill all the Druids. No one wants to get in unnecessary big fights if they can help it, though.
You cannot sneakaround and steal the Idol of Silvanus while the Druids are performing the ritual. By crouching, you will notice that all fields of vision are on the Idol as they chant.
If you attempt to crouch up to the Idol, they will ask why you are sneaking around by subtitles, andyou will automatically be removed from crouching.
You are able tocast some type of Blindness, such asFog CloudorDarkness, on your Rogue while they are near the Idol, allowing you to successfullyhideand steal the Idol.
The Druids will not suspect you, but they will still immediately start a fight against the Tieflings and become enemies to you if you join combat.
Because they are using the Idol to perform the ritual, it will be obvious that it has gone. However, if they no longer need to perform the ritual, no one will notice if the Idol goes missing.
How To Take The Idol After The War
If the Goblins are dealt with, there is no need for the Druids to complete the ritual.
When youfinish killing the Goblin leaders, the Tieflings will prepare to leave the grove, and the Druids will stop the ritual. Because of this, the Druids will be hanging around, and they won’t all be facing the Idol, meaning you may sneak into the grove andtake the Idol while no one is looking.
A Druid will inevitably notice it is missing and confront you. you may pass aDeceptionorIntimidationskill check to walk away unharmed with the Idol.
Once you celebrate with the Tieflings, they will disappear. If you plan to give Mol the Idol of Silvanus, you should not agree to partyat camp with the Tieflings until after you have stolen the Idol and given it to Mol.
If you have alreadykilled the Druidsduring your attempt tosave Arabelle from Kagha, you can just outright take the Idol.
