The option to swap your health and stamina meters in Breath of the Wild was invaluable to your gameplay experience, and the mechanic has returned once again inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The function works a bit differently in practice this time around, but the central tenet of reducing one in order to gain for the other will continue to serve you well.

How To Swap Your Health And Stamina
You cannot begin the requisite quest to unlock the statue needed until you’ve finished your first dungeon.
Swapping stamina and health has been made much easier in Tears of the Kingdom than it was in its predecessor, Breath of the Wild.
To begin, speak to the guard at Lookout Landing, the one standing directly in the center of town. You need toopen the emergency shelterto continue.
Lookout Landingis right by Hyrule Castle - it’s where you met up with Purah after arriving in Hyrule immediately following the tutorial.
After speaking with the guard, drop off this platform and speak toJerrinbeside the hole in the wall, which begins the side adventure titled,“Who Goes There?“Ventureinto this holeand useBomb Flowerstoblow up the rocks within. Check outour complete guide to the quest “Who Goes There” to ensure you finish the quest.
Just in this nook is theCursed Statue, which will do your change for you. When you speak to the Statue, you’llchoose either one heart or one stamina vesselto give to the Statue. In exchange, you’ll receive100 Rupees.
After this, you’re able to thenbuy backwhat you sold for120 Rupees, meaning you only need to source 20 Rupees yourself. When youbuy back your essence from the Statue, you canchoosehow you receive it: as aheart containeror as astamina vessel.
Once you’ve unlocked access to the Cursed Statue, you may do this trade-offas many times as you want or need, provided you have enough Rupees to do so.
There will be times throughout Tears of the Kingdom when youneed more staminathan health, whileother situations call for more healththan stamina - visit often to adjust as needed.
