The Acid Lab isGrand Theft Auto Online’slatest business addition, and it can be a very easy way to make a lot of money. However, unlocking this new business is a lot different from any of the other Motorcycle Club ventures.
In order to obtain this business, you must first become part of the Fooliganz, and work through all of The First Dose missions with Dax at the Freakshop, before unlocking the Acid Lab at the trade price. In this guide, we go through step by step how you’re able to unlock the Acid Lab, and begin production to maximize your business profits.

Complete The First Dose Missions
To begin your journey towards unlocking the Acid Lab, you must get stuck intoThe First Dose missions- a key part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update. There aresix missions to complete, each getting more difficult the more you progress through.
To trigger the start of this mini-campaign, you mustgo to Ron Jakowski at Liquor Acein Sandy Shores (indicated witha yellow ‘R’ on the map) and trigger the first mission -Welcome to the Troupe. Upon completing this first mission anddriving Dax to the Freakshop, you will be given the option to work through the otherfive First Dose missions.
To move on to the next mission, youmust wait for a call from Dax. After answering this call, the yellow marker will respawn for you to continue.
When you have reached the sixth mission,Off The Rails, the difficulty will amplify significantly, but you will be introduced to theBrickade 6x6vehicle totrigger the initial setup for the Acid Lab.
At the last hurdle of this mission, you will have tosteal the Brickade 6x6from the crash site anddrive it back to the Freakshop. Once this truck has been delivered, it willappear inside the Freakshopwarehouse for you to view in Freemode.
Steal The Lab Equipment
Now that you have unlocked the Brickade 6x6 by completing all of The First Dose missions, you will have togo and steal some equipment to unlock the Acid Lab.
If youwalk up to the truck in the Freakshop, you will get apopup prompting you tofind a nearby warehouseto take the equipment and unlock the Acid Lab for purchase. Here, you will have to open your map and find thethree yellow squares with a smiley faceon them -these are the warehouse locationsyou can steal from.
These locations arerandomized, but will all sit in theEast and South of Los Santos.Mark one of thethree locationsas a waypoint, and go there tobegin the Acid Lab setupmission.
When you arrive at the warehouse, you will be prompted tointeract with a yellow circle outside the building to trigger the raid. Inside the warehouse, there will bebetween four and six enemiesinitially that you must eliminate before trying to steal the equipment.
A few enemies will spawnthroughout the raid, sokeep an eye out on your mini-map for red dots.
Now that the warehouse is clear,find the yellow forklift truckthat is parked in front of a pallet of equipment to steal. Thepallets are indicated with a bouncing green arrow, so they are quite easy to find in the warehouse.
You must get in the forklift and pick up thepallet that is in front of you, beforedriving to the empty flatbed truckthat is always located directly opposite the door you entered through.
There is asmall metal rampin front of the flatbed, soyou need to get a bit of speedto get it up when you are carrying the equipment.
When you get to the truck,lower the pallet onto the flatbed, and the equipment will move into one of the three spots to show it has been successfully loaded. You mustcollect and move a total of three palletsonto the truck to complete the raid.
Once you haveloaded all three pallets, you will be prompted toget into the truckto drive out of the warehouse. Here, you must drive the truckback to the Freakshopto complete the mission, but you will befollowed by some enemies, so take them out if they become an issue.
Speak With Mutt To Complete The Setup
Now that the equipment has been delivered to the Freakshop, you can go andspeak to Muttat the workbench (indicated with a hammer and screwdriver) to trigger the purchase of the Acid Lab.This will cost$750,000, which is the trade price of the vehicle, so it pays off to have completed all of the First Dose missions.
By purchasing the truck, Mutt will kit out the laboratory area in the back with the equipment you previously stole, and you canbegin production almost instantly.
Similarly to other service vehicles in Grand Theft Auto Online, you cancall the Acid Labto be delivered to your location through theServices section of the interaction menu.
How To Upgrade The Acid Lab
Once your Acid Lab is all up and running,it is worth getting the equipment upgraded to maximize production and profits. To unlock this upgrade, you mustcomplete ten of Dax’s Fooligan missions.
There arefive missionsavailable to request from Dax:
You canrequest a job by phoning Dax, and you will randomly be given one of the five missions - of which you need to complete ten in total to unlock the upgrade.
There is a48-minute cooldownbetween each Fooligan mission, so it will bea long processto get the upgrade.
When you have completed ten of the missions in total, you cango to Muttat the workbench andpurchase the equipmentupgrade for $250,000.
