Gifts in the world ofStreet Fighter 6’s World Tour mode are plentiful. Giving gifts is how you build your bond with any given master in the game. Naturally, not every gift will be received the same by every master. However, considering the reward you receive for maxing out your bond with each of these iconic Street Fighters, it is absolutely a mechanic you want to engage with.

But who do you give which gifts to? Why are there more gift types than there are masters? Are the most expensive gifts really the best value? And why does the game reward us for torturing Chun-Li with the gift that she hates the most? We’ll cover that all in this guide!

Encrypted data lies on a small memory card in your avatar’s hand in Street Fighter 6.

Update July 12, 2025: With the second season having recently dropped, we have updated this guide to include the gifts for all the season 1 DLC characters as well as the recently released season 2 character: M. Bison.

How Do Gifts Work?

Each master has a certain affinity for every gift in the game.Every gift you give will, at the very least, increase your bond with that master by one point.Other gifts will increase your bond by two points.

Every master has one present that will increase your affinity with them by a whopping five points.Naturally, these are what you are aiming for. Well for the most part, at least. Therearetimes when the non-specific gifts may actually be the more budget-conscious option. We’ll get into that a little more in the gift section.

The Cheaper Gifts Are A Better Value!

You read that title correctly. While the common advice floating around online is that you should just give each master the present that yields five points, that isn’t actually the best value. You can give Zangief a Wooden Bear worth 4410 Zenny. This is his ideal present and will earn you a whopping 5 bond points. Or,for 3,465 Zenny, you could give Zangief three packs of Double KO Gum, earning you 6 bond points in the process. Hell, for 4,630 Zenny—just 220 Zenny more than the bear—you will receive 8 points.

Masters will give you 2 points for a number of the cheaper gifts. For Zangief, it is the Fighter Magazine Special Issue, Double KO Gum, and the Luxury Heat Pack that he likes best. However, which gift will reward the two points will change (pretty sensibly) for every character. If you are looking to save Zenny, then your best bet is to stock up on the cheap gifts. However, that does mean more menu sorting, so if you have the Zenny to spare, you may just default to buying them the primo presents. We won’t judge you for your reckless spending.

Every expensive gift is worth 2 bond points when given to any master they are not intended for. Needless to say, this is a terrible value, so only do it if you have spares left over after having maxed out your bond with the master this gift would typically be perfect for.

What Does Increasing A Master’s Bond Level Do?

As you raise your bond with a master, they will let you know more about them. They will tell you anecdotes, share their history with you, or tell you about their likes and dislikes. You will also earn multiple pieces of art, emotes, and as you enhance your bond with them, they will become more likely to strike a unique pose when you are photographing them. However, the final reward is probably what you are after: if you get your bond level up to 100 you will unlock that character’s alternate costume.

Best Gifts For Each Master

Here we’ll provide a quick reference for all the gifts that each master prefers. This will include their ideal gift, as well as the cheap gifts they synergize best with. For your convenience, this list is in alphabetical order.

The DLC characters operate a little differently. You won’t be able to purchase their ideal gifts in a shop.Instead, you’ll find that they are all rewards earned by fighting random people on the streets. Each DLC master also has a special gift which will increase their rank a substantial amount. You’ll earn these by completing a mission associated with them.
