Preparations Before Rescuing The German Prisoner

Before attempting the rescue, ensure that you have the wrench in your possession. An incredibly useful tool that can be picked up in theMaintenance sectionof the map, the wrench is required for unscrewing vent covers to progress into new areas of the bunker. This includes the vent connecting to the Warden’s Office in the Prison section.

The German prisoner’s cell door can only be opened byinteracting with the electric-powered cell door control panel in the Warden’s office. Ensure that the generator, located in the Administrator’s Office, issufficiently fuelled; canisters of fuel can be found throughout the bunker including within the Central Bunker, Officer’s Quarters, and Maintenance sections of the map.

Keep in mind thatammunition is scarce on Normal and Hard difficulties, so make sure to only use your revolver when necessary.
