While Vanellope is already in your village, she’s having trouble staying there. Your goal is to help her regain control of her glitching and learn how to use DreamSnaps in the process. When you do, Vanellope is sure to be a sweet addition to your valley. Get ready, get set, DreamSnap!
How To Unlock The Faith, Trust, And Pixel Dust Friendship Quest
Before you can begin Vanellope’s quest, you have a small prerequisite to complete. You’ll need totalk to Scroogeand startThe Haunting Of Dreamlight Valleyquest to find her. Completing this quest reveals that Vanellope is stuck inside the Dream Castle, thanks to her glitching. Normally, she can control it, but she’s having trouble. Luckily, there’s something you can do to help.
Vanellope needs you topost a picture to the internetto help her lock down which Dreamlight Valley she can stay in. What this means for you is that you have a new feature to explore.
How To Participate In The DreamSnaps Challenge
This newly introduced feature allows you to participate inweekly photo challenges. For the sake of this quest, you need only look for thetag instructionsin the event menu and meet them. This can include furniture or fashion.
The tags will change regularly, so make sure to keep an eye out for them to get the perfect photo op. There’s alsono limit on attempts, so it’s okay if you want to try a few things out first. Do your best and shoot your shot.
Having trouble finding the right items? You can use thefilter settingsto help select categories for clothing and furniture to narrow down your search.
Once you’ve successfullytaken the DreamSnapthat meets the requirements, submit it andreturn to Vanellope. Thankfully, she can control her glitching again and realizes that she’s been traveling to different Dreamlight Valleys with her power.
She’s been through the Valleyverse (yes, that’s a thing), and while all the villages are unique and welcoming, she has decided that yours is the best place to stay. The only thing missing now to make her feel at home is ahome for her to live in.
How To Unlock Vanellope
Like with most villagers, open your menu toplace Vanellope’s house. Find a good place to put it and set it down. You’ll need to use the Scrooge Sign to build it. It’ll cost4,000 star coins to construct, but soon her hideout will be complete, and you’re able to welcome her to your valley.
You’ll be prompted towelcome Vanellopeby the well in the Plaza. Fireworks will go off as she materializes, and you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with her to commemorate her first time entering the village.
