Some carnival games are easier than others. That is why we have compiled every playable game in Withergate Carnival and how to get the best score so that you earn the most tickets. Challenge mode won’t seem so scary after you have bested every game.
Withergate Carnival Overview
Each game rewards you with a certain amount of Red Carnival Tickets. This currency sits in your inventoryinstead of in a magical pocket at the top of your screen. To play a game at the carnival, you must pay regular Tickets.
To redeem Red Carnival Tickets, you have to visit the Prize Plaza. This is found just before the game area, where you will find picnic tables and food stalls.
The only place to get Withergate mounts is by purchasing them in the arcadewith carnival currency. This arcade also sells wallpaper and home decor options. However, everything there is pretty pricey. Only four items cost 60 Red Carnival Tickets or lower. The rest are 100+ Red Carnival Tickets.
You get an achievementfor winning your first game in the carnival at any stand.
P.A.M’s Strength Stand
The strength test is timed, so you want to usewhatever weapon is the fastest. you’re able to use items orpotions that increase Attack Speedif you only use a sword.
You are more likely to win using a crossbowwith upgraded Combat Skills. All the crossbow abilities within the Combat Skill Tree make shooting arrows faster and stronger. What you can get with one swing of a sword can be doubled by firing dozens of arrows a second.
P.A.M’s Strength Stand will cost 30 regular tickets. Challenge mode will cost 50. you’re able to get up to 30 Red Carnival Tickets for getting a score of up to 1,500. During Challenge mode, you canwin up to 70 Carnival Ticketsfor a score of 3,300.
How To Beat Challenge Mode
There is no trick to Challenge mode while playing P.A.M’s game. You should just come back with better weapons. In Challenge mode, the time is the same, and the score number will stay the same. The difference is thatyou must deal twice as much damageto get the same high score.
This is why you mustcome back with better weapons or upgraded Combat Skillsthat bring you powerful spells or sword/crossbow abilities. Hover over your current weapon to see how much Attack or Spell damage it does. Keep that in mind when crafting or purchasing a new and better weapon.
AOE damage usually hurts more. You canunlock Arrow Storm for crossbowsin your Combat Skills, which volley up to 12 arrows at once.Mixing magic into your basic attackswill also help.

Benny’s Card Stand
There is no trick to this game other than memory and quick thinking. When the game starts, all you can do is select two cards and hope for the best. Remember what those two cards were and then select two different ones.
If you select one by one, trying to find the matching card, you will waste time. When youselect two and then two again, if none of those four match, you at least now know where every symbol is because the remaining cards must match the previous.
Benny’s Card Stand will cost you 30 tickets. Challenge mode will cost 50. If you match every card in Standard Mode, you will win 23 Red Carnival Tickets. If you match every card in Challenge Mode, you get25 Red Tickets.
You can only make three mistakes in Challenge mode. After three mistakes, you have to get every other card correct within the same amount of time as Standard mode. There are ten cards in total, with five matches.
The first time you play Challenge mode, you will probably lose and wonder how you are supposed to know which card will be what symbol. It is not entirely luck based. You only need luck after your first three mistakes.
In the beginning, use your three mistakes to find different symbolsrather than get matches instantly. If you match quickly, you won’t know where anything is.Mistakes are what help you find the location of each symbol.
To succeed, try to match three times. If they become mistakes, memorize the cards you chose. The great thing is that you will already know where three or four out of five symbols are after three mistakes.
You may only need one more mistake to finally know where every card is. That is why you only need luck once. After that, it will be easy to match each symbol.
Chester’s Lottery Stand
Unfortunately, there is no tip or trick for Chester’s carnival stand. This game is about pure chanceand the luck of the draw. It can be hard to see what is actually on the wheel, butyou can earn Red Carnival Tickets, a mystery prize, or trash.
Chester’s Lottery Stand will cost you 30 Tickets. Challenge mode costs you 55. In Standard Mode, the Carnival Tickets you may earn will reach as high as 100.During Challenge mode, the red tickets will go as high as 200.
The only difference between Standard mode and Challenge mode for Chester is the prize. The way the game works does not change; it is still the luck of the draw.Prizes are just doubled, as they are for any game in the carnival.
What makes Chester’s game better than others is thatChester’s Lottery is the only game that rewards the most tickets. You can only earn up to 85 Red Carnival Tickets for other carnival games. With Chester, you go big or go home, hitting a jackpot of 200.
Jet’s Hat Stand
This game is all about keeping your eye on the prize. There will be a little creature that appears and enters a hat. You have to keep your eye on that particular hat for the entire game and remember which one the creature is in.
The absolute best way to keep track of the hat is to use your mouse cursor if you are playing on PC. Keep your cursor on top of the creature and the hat it goes under.Follow that hat with your cursor the entire time.
If you are not using a mouse, you should get close enough to the screen to use your finger to follow the hat instead.
Standard mode at Jet’s Hat Stand will cost you 30 tickets. Challenge mode costs 50. If you find the doll or creature in Standard mode, you win 20 Red Carnival Tickets. If you win during Challenge mode, you’re able to get45 red tickets.
During Challenge mode, the hats will move exceedingly faster. It is hard to keep your eye on the hat it is under since the hats overlap while switching places, and the hats are identical.
Like regular mode, you will want to use your finger or cursor to keep your eye on the prize. Don’t focus on the other hats moving or anything else happening on the screen except for the hat with the doll under it.

Dugan’s Target Stand
Dugan’s Stand is one of the hardest carnival games. While P.A.M’s Strength stand had a dummy stay still, this game has multiple moving targets to up the challenge.
As you may have found out already, you cannot use a sword for this game. You are behind a fence and mustuse ranged combat. This can be spells or a crossbow.
Because all the targets are moving around, you will want to rely on the fall pattern of your arrows or spells. You won’t be able to hit many targets if you just shoot straight. You have to aim where the targets are going.
If you have AOE attacks, even better. In your Combat Skill Tree you can upgrade your crossbow abilities to make your right-click shoot bigger volleys in a cluster.
Standard mode of Dugan’s Target Stand will cost 30 tickets. Challenge mode costs 50. In Standard mode, you’re able to win up to 30 Red Carnival Tickets for a score of around 56. During Challenge mode, you canearn up to 85 red ticketsfor the same score.
Challenge mode brings more targets. The time and speed stay the same. This is why it is important to upgrade your crossbow in Combat Skills. Unlocking Arrow Storm is hugebecause it volleys 12 arrows at once, allowing you to hit multiple targets.
The next thing you need to do isstand at the far left or far right of the screen. Standing in the middle and trying to catch all the targets will prove hard. As stated before, you need to aim where they are going to go, not where they are.
If you sit at the far left, you canshoot and volley arrows diagonally across the screen, and it will hit more targets than if you were in the middle and trying to aim in different ways. If you are on the far right, you cancut off the targets and preemptively shootas they come out since they come out from the left side and leave through the right.
Chauncey’s Jellybean Stand
For Chauncy’s game, you will have to pay attention to how many jellybeans are falling during the mini-game and then give him your answer during the dialogue at the end.
Just like with Jet’s Hat Stand, the best way to keep track of each jellybean is touse your cursor to isolate each bean and count better.Likewise, if you are not using a mouse, you’re able to use your finger to count the jellybeans as they fall on the screen.
Don’t worry about the jellybeans entering the screen until you have finished counting the falling ones. Of course, you could always do the process of elimination once Chauncey asks you how many beans fell. There will only ever bethree answers to choose from.
To play this game in Standard mode, you must pay 30 tickets. Challenge mode will cost you 40. If you guess correctly during Standard mode, you earn 18 Red Carnival Tickets. If you guess correctly during Challenge mode, you earn30 Red Carnival Tickets.
For Challenge mode, more jellybeans will appear. They don’t fall faster or in sporadic order. There will just be more to count, so your strategy should be the same.
It helps thateach group of jellybeans is different colors, but if you still need help, using your finger or cursor to isolate each bean as you count will work wonders.
