You’ll Need To Be Good At Playing An Instrument
to write songs in The Sims 4, you’ll first need to be something of a virtuoso, by reachingLevel Eightinone of the following instruments:
Pipe Organ is a separate skillfrom Piano,and the two arenot interchangeable. Your Sim will need to level both Pipe Organ and Piano separately, if you choose to make them play both.
It willtake some time to get to the right levelof an instrument, especially if you’re starting to learn it from scratch, so be sure you’repracticing your instruments oftentoget better at them.
How To Write A Song
Once you reachLevel Eightin your instrument of choice, you’ll see the option begin to appear to"Write Song"when youclick your instrument.
Then, you’llchoose the kind of songyou want to write, and set your Sim to writing!
Higher levels of the skill allow you to write new genresas you continue to improve.
Like with other projects, you’ll see ameter to track the progress of the songwriting, which fills as your Sim works to complete their tune.
You’ll then receive apush notification on the notification bar when you’re finishedwriting your song.
License And Perform Your Finished Songs
Songwriting takes quite a lot of time - anumberof in-game hours - but you havea few options for what to do with songsonce you’re finished.
You can onlylicense one song per in-game week.
