For as adorable and wholesome a game as Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is, your farmer reaches the end of their long and, hopefully, Wonderful Life to finish out the story.
When you go to sleep onWinter Ten of Year Six, your family awakens the following day to find you unresponsive. Baddoch arrives to call your time of death, and you see amemorial sequenceof the town mourning your farmer.
And while the scenes of everyone feeling hurt by your loss is touching indeed, plenty of us aren’t quite ready to let go of our farms just yet.
Maybe you’ve just gotten into the groove with the right crop schedule, or maybe you’re just too smitten withyour spouseand watching the child you have together grow up into their own person. Whatever the reason, fear not, as you may play on intoChapter Seven: “Beyond.”
How To Access Chapter Seven
So long as yousave your dataafter you’ve finished seeing the memorial cutscene and credits for Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you’ll be given the option toload back into this savefrom Chapter Seven.
To differentiate it in your journal,Chapter Seven savesfeature theNature Spritesinstead of one of your livestock.
After you’ve saved, you’ll be taken back to themain menu. Opt to"Continue"like normal, andchoose the save with the Nature Spritesto continue on with the farm you’ve spent your whole life growing.
What Changes In Chapter Seven?
When you play Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Chapter Seven: “Beyond,” the first thing you’ll notice immediately is thateveryone is young again.
Theadults who showed signs of ageleading up to the end of the game will all be back to theirChapter Two appearances- no more gray hairs or age lines for the folks of Forgotten Valley after you’ve come back, either.
However, it’s not as if you went back in time -your child is a fully-grown adult, who still lives with you and continues topursue their passionsas they had been in your final chapters of the normal Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gameplay.
It’s largely as if you’ve gone back to Chapter Two, with Nina still being gone. San, Garrett, and Kate still live in the townhouses, with Gary over on Oceanview Hill and Nina buried out front. The children are all adults, but they still live in Forgotten Valley.
Additionally, there’sa Wonderthat you can only get by loading a Chapter Seven save, “It Was A Wonderful Life.” This is also tied to anachievement or trophy, if you’re collecting.
If you don’t want to play, you cansimply load the save to mark this as complete.
