Summer Game Fest gave us our first look atMortal Kombat 1’sgameplay, including things like the Kameo assist system that allows you to call in help from characters like Kano and Striker, grisly new fatalities, returning fighters and some pretty major changes to the lore of the Mortal Kombat universe.It also showed offJohnny Cage’sabsolute dump truck of an ass, which is far more important. Who needs Sub-Zero and Scorpion to be brothers, when Johnny’s carrying around two extra juicy ham hocks in his designer trousers?RELATED:Mortal Kombat: Scorpion And Sub-Zero’s Feud ExplainedFor something so voluminous and meaty, you don’t get too much of an eyeful of Johnny’s assets in the gameplay reveal. It’s mostly too focused on boring things like “fighting” and “story” and “gory fatalities”. However, in two frames you get to see Cage’s assets in all their glory.
The first is just before the X-Ray scene in Cage’s fight with Kenshi. As he’s staggered, waiting to take whatever punishment Kenshin is planning, you’re able to just a moment of those well-proven buns, perfectly curved as you’d expect from a Hollywood star. The view is then obscured by Kenshi and Sub-Zero double-teaming him and ramming ice shards into his temporal lobe.
But fear not, for later on in the trailer we get another glimpse at what Johnny’s working with. Shortly after Jax knocked him down during his fight with Kung Lao, you can see those sumptuously buxom cheeks. It’s just for a second, but it is most definitely there.
The best thing about this is it isn’t as though every other character is also packing some badonkadonk. Other fighters like Scorpion and Liu Kang are notably less gifted in the booty department, making Cage’s rear end a conscious choice on the part of NetherRealm Studios. That being said, Kano also appears to have those buns we crave, as seen when he assists Kung Lao as a Kameo fighter later on in the trailer.
Mortal Kombat isn’t the only fighting game to embrace its inner horndog. Street Fighter 6 has been impressing players with how much its fighters are on display – sometimes that ends up withCammy’s wedgie to end all wedgies, while other times you’ll getRyu looking all thicc and delectable, or Ken serving that grizzled Sad Dad look.
The question remains who else is going to get the booty treatment in Mortal Kombat 1, as we’ve not seen even a fraction of the roster yet. Is Baraka stuffing some chicken breasts in his pants? Does Nightwolf have cake for days? Surely Bo Rai Cho has some dumpy with how often he uses it in a fight?
