Ubisoftjust dropped a wild crossover on us, as it’s revealed that Master Chief is coming toBrawlhalla. This news comes from theUbisoft Forwardshowcase, giving fans a taste of what they can expect from the publisher in 2023 and beyond

Fans won’t have to wait that long for Master Chief, however. Master Chief and The Arbiter will come to Brawlhalla on July 12, exactly a month away from now. The reveal gave us a quick look at the pair in action, showing us how their likeness has been translated into Brawlhalla’s unique artstyle. Of course, it also gives us a look at how they will play in battle, so you can decide whether they’re a good fit for your playstyle.

This is the latest in a long line of Brawhalla crossovers, albeit a pretty surprising one. Master Chief and The Arbiter will join the likes of Simon Belmont, Chun-Li, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when they’re added next month, making for a very diverse roster.

Master Chief and The Arbiter will be skins for existing characters Sidra and Isaiah, so if they’re your mains, you’re in for a treat. If not, get practising, because that’s exactly how they’ll play when they’re added to the game on July 12.

As wild as this crossover is, it’s far from the biggest reveal from today’s Ubisoft Forward. Closing the show, we got our first look at thegameplay for the newly announced Star Wars: Outlaws. This is being developed by Massive Entertainment, the same studio working on Ubisoft’s Avatar game, which also got a showing earlier today.

But of course, it couldn’t be a Ubisoft showcase without Assassin’s Creed. Mirage got an extended gameplay preview too, showing what this much smaller instalment in the series will look like. It’s not changing too much to the formula, which can be either good or bad news depending on your outlook. Of course, many have us have been hoping that Mirage will address every issue we’ve had with modern Assassin’s Creed games, but that might be too much to put on the project. In any case, the gameplay preview gives us a chance to decide for ourselves, before its launch on October 12.

In the meantime, if you want to check out this announcement that’s coming to us a whole lot sooner, Brawlhalla is free to play on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
