Behaviour Interactivehas confirmed that Naughty Bear, the iconic teddy bear killer from the 2010 game of the same name, is coming toDead by Daylight.
Before Behaviour Interactive became known for Dead by Daylight, it was mostly known as the studio that made Wet and smaller licensed games like Teen Titans, The Ant Bully, and, of course, Naughty Bear. Although Naughty Bear initially launched to pretty poor reviews from critics, it’s slowly become a cult classic over the years, leading many to hope that the homicidal bear would make a comeback in the future.

Although it seems unlikely that Naughty Bear is going to be getting his own game any time soon, everyone’s favourite stuffed killer is seemingly going to be making a long-overdue appearance in Dead by Daylight. Tomorrow,Behaviour Interactive is hosting a livestream to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Dead by Daylightand, as has been the case with previous anniversary streams, there are going to be some surprise announcements about the future of the game.
As is the case with most Dead by Daylight announcements, it seems that most of the highlights have already been leaked before the showcase, this time by Twitter user DBDNewsReal. Over on their Twitter,DBDNews shared images that are seemingly from the seventh-anniversary stream, revealing some of the things that are planned for Dead by Daylight in the near future.
By far the most exciting announcement is that Naughty Bear is going to be coming to Dead by Daylight in some format in the near future. DBDNews just mentions that there are “Collabs with Naughty Bear and Ikumi Nakamura incoming”. We do get to see a brief look at Naughty Bear, however, and it appears that he’s either a skin for an existing killer or a brand-new killer with his own moveset. Let’s hope the big guy gets the star treatment he deserves and gets his own unique abilities, rather than just being a skin.
We’ll likely have to wait until the Dead by Daylight stream to officially find out what Behaviour has planned for Naughty Bear, butDBDNews also leaked the roadmap for the game’s eighth year, and it could hint at when he’s being added to the game. New killers are planned for both August and November, which means that Naughty Bear could potentially be added to the game in either of those months.
If the leak turns out to be true, this wouldn’t be the first time that Behaviour Interactive has paid tribute to Naughty Bear in Dead by Daylight. Back in 2021,Behaviour added a weapon charm of Naughty Bear, which was the first time he’d been seen since 2012’s Panic in Paradise.
