Whether you’re building your island from scratch or rearranging your design inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll want to take note of the space you’ll need for everything. Your house, Nook’s Cranny, the museum… there are a lot of buildings to account for, and that’s without including the bridges and inclines you’ll need to help villagers get around.
As all the buildings, as well as bridges and inclines, have specific plot sizes you’ll need to abide by when designing your island paradise, it’s a good idea to get acquainted with them first. There’s nothing worse than almost finishing your decoration idea, then discovering the main attraction won’t fit…
All Plot Sizes
When you mark a plot to place buildings, bridges, and inclines on your island, each one requiresa specific plot size.
If you don’t have the required space available, such as having another building or furniture in the way,you will not be able to place the building there.
If you want to move a building after you’ve already placed it on your island, speak to Tom Nook.
It will cost you30,000 bells to move your house, and50,000 bells to move all other buildings.
Bridges and inclines can’t be moved. They must bedemolished and rebuilt.
