Mewtwo’s Crystal Cave Challengeis an event that tasks you with earning coins to eventually exchange 100 for your very ownfreeMewtwo Unite License.
The event itself is solely about progressing through the spaces to reach the end of the map.
You havetwo route optionsfor each board.
The first pathwill always give youten coinsbut will be an easier route.
The second pathwill give eitherten or 15 coinsbut will usually have a space or two with harder missions.
How Do You Get Mewtwo?
The event is set up like a board game with three simple steps:
If you or a friend unlocks Mewtwo first, keep playing together.You automatically complete each Tile Mission by playing with someone using that event’s Mewtwo license.
The loop itself is simple but doesrequire multiple daysof playing in order to complete the map enough times to earn 100 special event coins.
If you have the Aeos coins and don’t mind spending them, it’s a good idea tore-roll your dice every time until you get a six. This guarantees that you are completing one map for every two dice rolled, and will help accelerate the process.
You receive one di per each login, andyou can also earn additional dice by completing missionsassociated with the event.
Once claimed,you’re able to store mission reward diceuntil you want to use them, butyou cannot stack the daily login dicebeyond the cap of one.
The Crystal Cave Exchange
The shop is filled withseveral valuable itemsfor purchase, though they are secondary to the real prize: Mewtwo.
If you are able to finish the board enough times to acquire Mewtwo early, you can continuously play the event to earn additional rewards.
Thecoin booster itemsare exceptionally valuable if you’re low on Aeos Coins, but should be resisted until you’ve claimed your Mewtwo first.
