Exploring the sky is one of the most enjoyable experiences in Tears of the Kingdom, featuring plenty of fun things to discover. Of the many different things you’re able to find in the sky, Crystallized Charges are among them.

During your journey in the sky, you will encounterplenty of bosses, and a select number of them willgive you 20 Crystallized Charges upon defeating them, among other rewards. Master Kohga Is Fun To Beat, Anyway

One of the biggest quests down in the depths of Hyrule is defeating the infamousYiga Clan. While taking down their members, you will not only be rewarded with the schematics for their machines, but you’ll also collect Crystallized Charges from them.

The Yiga Clan have plenty of basesin The Depths under Hyrule, so while you’re exploring them you may get sidetracked by a handful of Yiga Clan bases. Each base nets you 20 Crystallized Charges, as well as some other rewards. These Crystallized Charges are gained from treasure chests, so once you collect them you won’t be able to recollect them after the blood moon rises.

3Fight Enemies In The Depths

Once You’re Strong Enough, That Is!

While you’retraversing The Depths, you’re bound to run into a handful of enemies that look consistently similar to the ones you see on the surface. While it can be tempting to avoid them, especially consideringthe nasty Gloom you’ll have to deal with, you may want to consider fighting them if you’reon the hunt forZonaite.

In addition to whatever sorts of rewards these enemies give you for defeating them on the surface (monster parts, Rupees, etc.), they’ll also drop Zonaite, a resource that can be converted into Crystallized Charges. Defeating underground enemies is a quick and easy secondary way to gain Crystallized Charges.

2Mine Zonaite

And Convert It For Power

Zonaite is a very valuable resource, primarily found beneath the Depths, and while you’re traversing it you’ll come into contact with plenty of it. As long as you have a weapon that can easily break the boulders , you’ll be swimming in Zonaite, as well as the much more lucrativeLarge Zonaitein no time.

While there are individual boulders of Zonaite all over the depths, you’ll find lots of Zonaite sources next to enemy bases, as well as in the various mines scattered across.

Once you’ve racked up enough of those resources, you can head to one of the many Zonaite exchanges in the depths, which will allow you to trade them in for Crystallized Charges and Large Crystalized Charges. Crystallized Charges cost three Zonaite, and Large Crystallized Charges cost three Large Zonaite respectively.

1Fight Bosses Underground

Second Time’s The Charge-Giving Charm

By far the best way to gain large amounts of Crystallized Charges is byfighting Temple bosses in the Depths. These bosses mirror the ones you take on in the Temples and will give you Large Crystallized Charges, equating to a fifth of an energy cell.

These Temple boss fights don’t begin to spawn in The Depths until you’ve defeated the actual Temple boss in its respective region. After finishing the Temple, you’ll begin to see a version of its boss down in The Depths.

There are also regular overworld monsters like Taluses and Frox to handle, which give Large Crystallized Charges, but the Temple bosses grant you several Huge Crystallized Charges instead, for much the same effort.

If you’re eager to fill up as many energy cells as possible, mark boss locations on your map. They respawn with the Blood Moon, so take advantage and head back whenever you need more Crystallized Charges.
