Take Time To Explore
After the game’s opening cutscenes, you’re free to explore the village to your heart’s content. This time should be used to betteracquaint yourself with fellow Pachansand the role they play in the village.
Some Pachans also offer services in exchange for materials and contributions. For example, Croll is capable of building various structures in the village. Croll can also create a small hut for you in exchange for 250 contribution.
As time passes, more areas will open up as well. Eventually, you will access thejungle, forest, and savannah locations. Each area offers its own unique set of resources for creating items and gear.
Make Friends
Making friends with other characters is useful for better understanding the villagers and how they contribute to the village. It also helps youbetter grasp their daily routineand when certain characters are available or unavailable.
Friendship with a character can be increased byfrequently speaking to them and offering gifts. Each character has their own set of items that they like and dislike.
Offering items that a character especially enjoys will significantly increase the friendship meter. Friendship with any given character ismeasured by the number of flowers next to their name.
Purple flowersindicate that a character can beromanced, whileyellow flowersmean your relationship with this character isstrictly platonic.
Once a characterhas six flowers, you may start dating them. After reaching ten flowers, you can marry this character.
Marrying a character doesn’t have too many benefits outside a few extra cutscenes and dialogue. However, if you speak to your spouse while they’re preparing food, they may offer you some.
Make Contributions
Contribution functions as the game’s currency. Contribution can be used in exchange for items, buildings, and gear.
You can make contribution points byplacing items inside the contribution bin. Items placed in the contribution bin all vary in terms of how much contribution they accumulate.
More contribution boosts the prosperity of the village. Prosperity is the sum of the villager’s contribution and yours. Raisingprosperity is necessary to unlock ideas and structuresaround the island.
Structures largely serve as cosmetic changes, but ideas are excellent for obtaining the most useful items in the game. Ideas are essentially quests that, upon completion, reward you with unique items. All ideas require a certain amount of prosperity to be unlocked.
Your days should be spentraising contribution and prosperityto make your daily chores much easier.
