This guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Ruins of Eridu dungeon, including how to find its entrance, the objectives you’ll be tasked with completing, and what enemies you’ll face as you progress through its depths.
How To Locate And Complete The Ruins Of Eridu
The Ruins of Eridu entrance can be found in theLake of Ill-Omen section of the Hawezar region.
TheVyeresz Waypoint will be your closest teleport, and the dungeon is only a short ride to the west. You can visually distinguish the entrance from other dungeonsby the large statues that flank the cave’s mouth.
The majority of enemies you will encounter inside will beUndead. However, there will also be an abundance ofFallen,so watch out for the Fallen Shamans; they can deal some surprisingly high damage from afar.
Your first objective will be toSlay all enemies in the Rotting Halls. The enemy density is high, so you should be consistently battling enemies during this part.
The layout should prevent you from doubling back on yourself too much, so justpush forward and cleave down anything in your path.
There areno notable eventsto look out for in this dungeon, sofocus on completing the objectivesinstead.
After you have cleared out the Rotting Halls, youshould press onwards to the Fallen Chambers.
Here, you will be tasked withkilling two Banes of Eridu. These Elites can be found atopposite endsof this section in alarge circular room. They are nothing to worry about, and you can even skip past most of the enemies on your way to them.
After slaying the two Banes, you’re able to progress into the final boss’s chamber, theLair of the Riser. Despite the ominous name, this is the easiest part of the dungeon, as this enemy is extremely simple to take down.
TheSpiritcaller of Flamesis a Fallen Shaman that will predominantly dance around his arena, summoning pillars of fire.
These pillars act as conduits for his fireball attack andwill produce flames of their own in conjunction with his fireball. While this might sound deadly, the Spiritcaller has no devastating moves, and you should be confident in constantly attacking him.
His fireballs do not deal much damage and arenot something you should be worried about dodging.
The boss will also periodicallysummon some Fallento aid him, but generally, only two to three enemies will spawn at a time.
Over time, their numbers will grow, asthe Spiritcaller will resurrect any Fallen Overlords you have previously slain, but the boss should be dead by the time they appear in any significant numbers.
Completing the Ruins of Eridu will earn you theSacrificial Aspect for Necromancers. Thisincreases the bonus of your Sacrifices by 15 percentand can be a valuable pickup for several top-tier Necro builds.
