To start creating masterpieces you need to first start painting. To do this,you will need to purchase an easel or digital sketchpad from the build mode followed by a canvas to paint on.A masterpiece can be completed on any size canvas.

Additionally, The Expressionistic Reward Trait is the bonus for completing this aspiration andallows your sim to paint in any mood which will again help you create masterpieces.
To gain this aspiration, you will need to completethe three stagesoutlined below:
Reach A Certain Level
Achieving a top painting level will not guarantee a masterpiece, but it will help your chances, especially after reaching level 8 or higher.To increase the painting level of your Sim, just keep paintinguntil the green bar above their head is filled.
There will be better chances to achieve a masterpiece by repeating the type of painting you have used the most.
Make Your Sim Inspired
Byraising your Sim to Very Inspiredand then having them paint, you increase the odds of creating a masterpiece. Doing other inspiring activities such as molding clay, taking a thoughtful shower, or viewing a bonsai can help a Sim feel inspired. Similarly,having a sim paint while they are in a good can also aid in painting a masterpiece.
Give Your Sim Certain Traits

To change an existing Sims trait,you’re able to buy aRe-Traiting Potionfrom the Rewards Store for 5,000 Satisfaction Points.

Additionally,its value does not increase over time, so there is no point in keeping it to see if you’re able to sell it for more later.
