So, which one should you prioritize? In this guide, we are going to take a look at which you should prioritize. If you are completing late-game content, you will most likely have a lot of both. This guide is meant for those just starting out. First, let’s take a quick look at how to get a Light of Blessing.
Obtaining Lights of Blessing
After completing a shrine, you will receive one light of Blessing. The shrine itself doesn’t matter; for example, you will still get a Light of Blessing if you enter a shrine without a challenge (Rauru’s Blessing).
When you have at least four Lights of Blessing, you canhead to a Goddess Statue to obtain either a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel.
There areGoddess Statues spread throughout Hyrule. An easy-to-find statue is located within theunderground bunker at Lookout Landing.
Early Game: Hearts Or Stamina?
Early in the game, you should be prioritizing Hearts. At the start of the game, you will only have three Hearts, which isn’t much. A majority of monsters in Hyrule will be able to kill you in one or two hits.
If you are not in the early-game portion of Tears of the Kingdom, having extra hearts is still important, especially if you are completing Temples. The main boss of each Temple can prove to be quite the challenge if you don’t have enough Heart Containers.
Upgrading Stamina For The Main Story
To progress through the main story, you will need to upgrade your Stamina.Without spoiling anything, just know that at a certain point in the story, you will need to have two full Stamina wheels.
This will require you to obtain five Stamina Vessels which, in turn, willcost you 20 Lights of Blessing.
How To Respec Hearts & Stamina
After obtaining Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, you will be able to respec them. This will take the container or vessel away, allowing you to invest in the other resource.
To unlock the ability to respec, you will first need to head to theunderground bunker in Lookout Landing and accept the quest Who Goes There?.By completing this quest, you will be led to the Forbidden Horned Statue, which allows you to trade Stamina and Hearts.
Maximum Hearts & Stamina
Themaximum amount of Hearts you can have is 40,and themaximum amount of Stamina that you can have is three full wheels.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to have both of these resources filled to the max. You will only be able to choose one that you want to fully max out.
