Street Fighter 6lets you make your characters as part of its World Tour campaign, but you may bring these fighters outside of the world of PvE to battle other players. Since they’re completely customisable down to the gear, that means you can get inventive with your appearance and style, but some have found a way to exploit that. You can enlarge accessories to a silly degree, meaning you can cover yourself in gigantic gloves and make it impossible for enemies to see you.
Gullible-Reason3367 showed this off on the Street Fighter subreddit, sharing a video of a mass of gloves with a barely noticeable tiny human in the middle. They completely steamrolled their opponent because attacks aren’t telegraphed since they’re hidden behind a horde of accessories, and hitboxes are thrown out of whack because of all the enlarged pieces.

Luckily, if you happen to run into this exploit when fighting with your avatar, there’s a way around it. And I’m not talking about getting used to fighting incomprehensible mush. You can disable accessories in the settings menu. In this case, that would get rid of all the gloves, leaving behind the tiny human the poster created for this exploit. They won’t know you can’t see their unfair advantage, which will likely end up hindering them since they’ll have a cluttered screen. Alternatively, you can try this for yourself and run the risk of getting some angry DMs afterwards.
Luckily, avatar matches aren’t ranked, so if you run into this without having the accessories option toggled, you won’t plummet to bronze. Alternatively, you could dress up in comically overblown gloves and fight your friends in comically overblown gloves, making for a fight where nobody will know what’s going on or where anything is. That sounds… fun? Stretching the term, sure.
The Reddit poster here, however, has been fighting complete strangers with this getup, and a few commenters had even run into them at some point. “Oh snap, I played the same person earlier today,” DollarsPerWin replied. “The first round I couldn’t see em either but the next few rounds, my eyes adjusted somewhat.”
Alternatively, you could use its in-depth character creator to make your favourite characters, likeKratos, Omni-Man, and Walter White. People have been doing it since launch, and it’s hilarious while not being disruptive, unlike those giant accessory-addled avatars. We’ve seen everything fromTekken’s (read: The Walking Dead’s) Neganto God of War: Ragnarok’s Thor, each brutally beating up strangers in World Tour mode.
