There are a lot of ways to get around inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Walking, running, and paragliding are for noobs, though. If you really consider yourself an actual hero of Hyrule, you’ll probably Ultrahand yourself up a B-52 bomber and lay waste to the Bokoblins till the next Blood Moon rises. That may sound like an exaggeration,but it’s not.
A brief scroll down Twitter or Reddit and you’ll see that players have been building all sorts of contraptions and vehicles using Link’s Ultrahand ability. Things as simple asreally long bridges, as bizarre as a wooden statue with agiant flamethrowing wang, and as intricate asan actual working engine. However, one player has built something that is cool and useful at the same time.

Presenting The Beast, created bylynx-paws. An all-terrain vehicle which can get over and above any kind of ground that Hyrule has to offer. Be it the rolling hills above, or the craggy depths below, there’s no terrain this Zonai tank can’t conquer. Its nigh-indestructible exterior is made up of Zonai sleds, a mine cart, and large wheels, but the real marvel is what’s on the undercarriage.
The reason the Beast can traverse almost any ground is because it has a great suspension system, made up of Zonai springs. The springs connect the wheels to the chassis and are deployed when the ground is uneven for extra maneuverability, and recoiled on flat ground for stability. The video by lynx-paws shows The Beast absolutely crushing the rocky terrain of the Depths.
“After getting fed up with high battery draining vehicles/vehicles not capable of handling more than a direct road I decided to create The Beast, explained the creator. “This towering monstrosity is a moving fortress capable of crossing shallow ponds and rocky hillsides easily while the armor protects Link from projectiles. By hopping on and off the steering stick you can effectively “toggle” the suspension allowing for a smooth ride until you need to climb something.
“The armor on top intentionally has gaps for Link to shoot his bow and arrow through since you’ll be towering above most mobs and on level with Bokoblin archer towers,” they continued. “The walls will even prevent Stone Talius rocks from hurting Link as long as he’s not right against them (but will knock the entire vehicle over if the suspension is raised).”
Unfortunately, just like in real life, such a hulking beast requires a ton of fuel or power. The Beast takes up a lot of your Zonai power charge while being driven, so it’s recommended that you stock up on charges, or work on upgrading your battery pack before building this absolute juggernaut.z
