The creative powers given to Link inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomsimply cannot be underestimated. From bizarre and terrifyingKorok torture devicesto a weaponthat could very well surpass Metal Gear,Tears of the Kingdom players have made it all. But there’s one thing they haven’t tried yet, and that’s making a full-on amusement park.

And we might not have to wait too much longer. Reddit userLong-Ad5013recently showed off their tilt-a-whirl plus pendulum ride combo that looks like a lot of fun, although it also looks stupendously dangerous.

The ride works by having a spinning rotor in the middle that spins two arms which themselves also have spinning rotors attached. Unfortunately, the speed at which these rotors twirl is fast enough that it actually broke one of the arms, causing it to scurry off camera. It was also fast enough to send Tulin flying into the mountains, which likely explains why these rides typically have fenced-off safety zones.

Riding this in the rain seems even less safe, although this brave Redditor still manages to perform a decent hop off the spinning platform without tearing themselves into pieces.

This is just a first ride, but one could easily construct other rides that are equally entertaining and perilous.

In other Tears of the Kingdom news, it turns out that the damage numbers you see in-gamemight not be exactly as they’re listed. Players have noticed discrepancies between the expected damage of a fused spear and the stated damage, which seems to indicate some behind-the-scenes modifiers are at play. Light weapons do exactly as much damage as their stats would indicate, but heavy weapons when fused with other items are actually five percent stronger than stated. Fused spears take a 25 percent hit to their damage.

you may see this analysis in action in a video posted to Reddit. A bokoblin would normally need 25 damage to kill, but it can actually die to a heavy weapon that deals 24 damage or a spear that deals 34 damage. The thought is that Nintendo wanted to keep things simple when displaying weapon info, but it can also be confusing to players expecting spears to be the best weapon type in the game based on their stats.

And while everyone else is trying to figure out how to make ever more elaborate Ultra Hand constructs, a Tears of the Kingdom speedrunner has managed to beat the gamein just under an hour.
