You might turn your opponent into a chicken or give them the strength of a thousand men! It’s one of a set of five Daedric artifacts made by Sheogorath. The name Wabbajack is probably a play on the name of the Jabberwock, a nonsensical creature from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass.

You receive the Mind of Madness Questfrom Dervenin, a homeless man in Solitude. He’s hard to miss; just look around near the Bard’s College. The Only Cure is another quest where you’ll interact with one of the Daedric Princes. This time it’sPeryite, the Lord of Pestilence. One of his followers has gone rogue and started spreading a deadly affliction throughout Skyrim, so Peryite requests that you help stop him.
Once the quest is complete, you’ll be gifted Peryite’s Daedric artifact:the shield, Spellbreaker. In addition to a base 38 armor, it alsocreates a ward while blockingthat can deflect against up to 50 points of damage from spells. Needless to say, it can be pretty infuriating as a warrior fighting a spellcaster, since your armor can’t do so much to protect you against a ball of fire like it can protect you against a sword. That makes this shield essential for sword-shield warriors.
