Bind has been one of the earliest maps inValorant, and it is relatively unique as a result of the teleporters that it features. In January 2023, Riot removed the map from the map pool, only to re-add it with the 6.08 patch in April 2023 after multiple reworks.
The map is now quite enjoyable to play, and you may have a great time playing it in the various game modes. To make your experience even better, you can select the agents that work the best on this map. This will give you a slight edge if you use their abilities appropriately.
10Raze (Duelist)
On the Bind map of Valorant, no other Duelist has the same influence as Raze, so you must choose this agent if you know how to handle airborne maneuvers. Popular double satchel spots are Lamps, B back site, and A truck. Her Boombot is excellent for clearing Lamps, Hookah, Showers, and many other locations.
Knowing how to double satchel isn’t essential in making Raze viable on Bind. Single satchel peeks can be sufficient in clearing areas like Bench, Showers, and cubbies.
Her grenade can be pretty influential too. She can clear the back site on B and Lamps on A with her nades, following it up with a speedy entry. Lastly, the Show Stopper ultimate can turn the tide in your favor inside the round, and you may get a kill or even multiple using it.
9Jett (Duelist)
Jett is considered Valorant’s best Duelist, and she works on practically every map, including Bind. Her Updraft will allow you to get on various surfaces, such as the truck on A. You can use her dash to hold awkward angles and get away safely. The Blade Stormultimate is very potent too, and you can employ it during eco rounds.
There are plenty of angles on Bind where holding with an Operator can completely stop an enemy team’s push. Jett is one of the best agents for the Operator, so have her hold an angle with her dash popped. Overall, Jett is great to pair with a Raze if you want a very quick and aggressive push as a team.
8Reyna (Duelist)
If you’ve already got a good Raze, Reyna is a good option for a second Duelist on Bind. Her blind can help with clearing the multiple corners of the map. She’s also great for aggressive plays, so she can easily follow up on the movement Duelist’s push.
A Reyna is rewarded for her aggression. Only pick Reyna if you have the confidence or the ego to match her abilities. Don’t pick this agent if you’ll be baiting or tucked away in corners.
To play Reyna as a defense agent, hold aggressive angles such as A Showers where you can get a pick and use your Dismiss to get away. In this type of play, Jett works better but if you don’t have Jett’s movement mastered or if you’re confident in your aim, Reyna is your best bet.
7Cypher (Sentinel)
Cypher is the best Sentinel to play on the Bind map, and he could be perfect for holding down sites. His Trapwires can be placed on places like Hookah and Showers to catch enemy movement towards the site.
In addition, his Camera can be a vital asset and provide much-needed information. You may also use his Cage as smokes to cover out angles, and there are one-ways that you’re able to learn. His Neural Theft ultimate can be very valuable as well, and you can use it on a dead enemy to know the positions of the others.
6Deadlock (Sentinel)
If you’re looking for a second Sentinel, Deadlock is a viable option. Her wall is great for stopping enemy pushes, especially since Bind has plenty of tight spaces, such as A Short, Hookah, Lamps, and Showers. Her Sonic Sensor is also great for stopping quick pushes. Putting it behind the box in A Short or right by Hookah can stop a Raze from diving in.
Deadlock’s GravNet is also really powerful for getting enemies stuck in a spot, such as back site on B. Following it up with a Raze nade will help secure the kill for the team. Her Annihilation ultimate is also really powerful on Bind because of the small spaces enemies could be hiding in.
5Skye (Initiator)
Skye is perfect on Valorant’s Bind map if you enjoy playing the Initiator role. you’re able to creatively use her flashes in the map’s narrow angles to blind the opponents and get your teams the critical kills. A good spot is B Long. Have a teammate ready to peek after you flash the long stretch and you’re guaranteed a few kills if the enemy is there.
In the meantime, the Trailblazer is perfect for information, and you may use it to clear off positions such as A Showers, B Elbow, and more, depending on the site you are committing. Sending the tiger through the teleporters can also help clear Showers or Mid.
4Fade (Initiator)
If your team is afraid to push without sufficient intel on what to expect on different sites, Fade is a good second Initiator option. With her Haunt, she can spot and mark enemies hidden behind boxes and other obstructions. Following up with a Prowler can help incapacitate enemies, and the Prowler can also be used for clearing like a Skye Trailblazer.
Fade’s ultimate Nightfall is also perfect for taking either site with its large range. Also, when paired with a Raze’s grenade a Seize can easily trap enemies and kill them so that the team no longer has to worry about an area.
3Clove (Controller)
When it comes to Controlling the different sites and areas on Bind, Clove can do the job sufficiently. They’re a great agent to pick if you want to be a Controller but still be aggressive. They can help with pushes by being aggressive, since they’ll still be able to put smokes down even when they die.
The Meddle ability that can decay the health of the enemies can also be paired with Raze grenades to help clear different areas of the map. For instance, Clove can throw the Meddle towards the back site of B and Raze can follow it up with her grenades to kill enemies hiding there.
2Brimstone (Controller)
Brimstone can be agood part of the team compositionon bind if you don’t need the extra aggression that Clove has to offer. With three smokes, you should be able to smoke out all the essential angles, such as Heaven, towards Truck, and so on.
Brimstone cannot place his smokes down when he’s too far from an area. You may have to play from spawn on defense to quickly support defender teammates from either side.
The Stim Beacon can serve a good purpose for your team, and you can deploy it to give yourself an edge in a gunfight. Additionally, the Incendiary grenade can push off opponents from angles like Cubby, which is excellent for post-plant situations. Orbital Strike is also very powerful here for clearing out areas like Lamps, Hookah, and most of the B site.
1Viper (Controller)
Viper stands out as arguably one of the best Controllers on Bind, but you will typically need to pair her up with Brimstone or another Controller for the team to perform better. Speaking of her abilities, her Wall can cut off a majority of the A site or B site with you only having to worry about specific angles and pushes.
Her Smoke can be thrown at Default on both sites to secure a plant, while the Snakebite is perfect for after plant. The Viper’s Pit ultimate can further be a game-changer and enable you to secure a round by itself.
