Baizhu is a Dendro character who wields a Catalyst as a weapon. Players were introduced to him during the early stages of the game but he wasn’t released as a playable character until Version 3.6. If you’re lucky enough to have the character, here’s how you can easily build him.
Support Healer Build For Baizhu
After going through Baizhu’s talent descriptions just once, you’ll be able to tell that he’s mainly designed to heal your party members and protect them from harm.Healers and shielders are an integral part of the gameas most enemies in the game can easily kill your characters within seconds.
Description
Universal Diagnosis
Shoots a projectile thathits one of the nearby enemies and then bounces between up to three enemies. If it reaches three enemies or there are no more enemies left, it returns to your character and heals everyone in your party.
Holistic Revivification
Triggers an effect for 14 seconds thatforms a shield around your active character every 2.5 seconds. While in the shield, your active character gets healed. You’ll also deal AoE Dendro DMG if your shield is broken or if another shield forms on top of an existing shield.
Don’t overestimate the shield created by Baizhu’s Elemental Burstsince it’s weaker than a paper.
The purpose of the shield is to break so that it can deal extra damage to the surrounding enemies.
You can also get extra healing if your active character has lower than 50 percent health.All of this clearly points out that a healing build will be the best one for Baizhu. You can choose two different artifact sets for this build based on the team you’re planning to put him in:
Since this is his best build, it’s also thebest place to use his signature weapon called Jadefall’s Splendor. After using your Burst or creating a new shield, this character gets some Energy and Elemental DMG Bonus. This can help you have a decent uptime on the Burst and deal a bit of damage at the same time.
Not everyone will have enough Primogems to pull for the signature weapon,which is where Prototype Amber comes into play.
It can be crafted by anyone and gives you a little extra healing and Energy Regeneration.
Even if you’re using the signature weapon on this build, don’t expect Baizhu to deal too much damage. Although, the damage can be significant enoughwith the Dendro RES Shred from Deepwood and the signature weapon.
Burst DPS Baizhu Build
There’ll be plenty of players who aren’t satisfied with having one slot in the party wasted just for healing. This is becauseyou don’t need healing as much during the late game as shielders have far more value. This is where the Burst DPS build for Baizhu comes into play. You might get a little less healing with it, but the damage will make up for that.
Emblem of Severed Fate has been one of the strongest artifact sets in Genshin Impact ever since its release, and that’s what you’ll use for the build.It gives you 20 percent Energy Recharge for two pieces and increases your Burst damage by 25 percentof your Energy Recharge for having four pieces of the set.
This DMG boost can only go up to 75 percent, but that’s more than enough for Baizhu.

Artifact Stat Priority For Baizhu
Each five-star artifact has one main stat and up to four sub-stats. Apart from the set bonus,these stats will be one of the main contributors to determining your character’s effectiveness. Depending on the build you choose, here are the stat priorities:

Energy Recharge > ATK Percent
Even though this is a healer build, a bit of Dendro DMG Bonus workssince it stacks with his passive.
Flower
Crit Rate/DMG > Energy Recharge > ATK Percent > HP Percent

Crit DMG/Rate > Energy Recharge > ATK Percent
Talent Priority For Baizhu
Baizhu has three active talents that can be upgraded up to level ten to increase their multipliers. Other than that,you may also get his passives by ascending him through different phases. When it comes to active talents, his Elemental Skill is the priority, especially in the healer build since it heals much more.
His Burst takes second priority, though this is reversed for the Burst DPS build. Moreover,you can upgrade the Normal Attack talent if you’re using his signature weapon or the Burst DPS build. Other than that, it’s recommended to leave it at around level six unless you have extra resources.

Increases the damage from your Burst by eight percent of Baizhu’s HP. Moreover,a Burst-type shield is created every time your Skill or Constellation Two hitsan enemy.
As you can see, the Burst DPS build for Baizhu becomes even more viable with his constellations.
