Although early game builds inDiablo 4don’t rely as much on legendary aspects, given that you don’t come across them that often, World Tier Three and up almost demand them so you can become a mean killing machine. You really should build yourself towardssome of the best Legendary Aspectsin the game and work with the items you’re getting.

It’s exceptionally important you do this with the Druid because they can become an absolute powerhouse later in the game, but it relies on layering Legendary Aspects with different skills. Thankfully, however, for the Druid, it’s not all that difficult to execute.
Core
Tornado
The Companion Build is one of the best for early gameplay when you’re mainly focused on leveling up and blazing through the campaign so you can get to higher world tiers. However, past World Tier Two you really should move onto a different build.
This Companion Build puts your buddies to the test, and it might end up showing thatnot every Companion is as good as you might think. Regardless, it’s a build worth trying out in the early game because it lets you experiment with both Area of Effect (AoE) and targeted damage.
With this early build, you don’t particularly need to worry about which spirit boons you take because they likely won’t affect things enough for you to notice. However, you should probably take whatever would give you health or attack speed.
Ultimate
Lacerate
Things start getting a bit more complicated with ultimate builds like the Poisoner’s Build because you’re not just relying on your basic abilities to get through the game. You need to be durable and still deal a significant amount of damage so you don’t become overwhelmed by the countless enemy swarms, especially during helltide.
This build relies on being able to round up enemies and careful resource utilization. If you are able to get your hands on the Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt, change your basic ability to Maul, which deals instant damage, up to 300 percent of your poisoning damage when you strike a poisoned enemy with a Werebear skill.

Concerning your spirit boons, with the Poisoner’s Build, you should take the second Deer offering, giving you ten Max Spirit. For the Wolf spirit, you should opt for the third offering, which gives you ten percent of your Max Health as a Fortify when you use one of the two Defensive Skills. Take the Wolf Spirit as your companion and you can also take the last offering, which gives you a longer Ultimate.
For the Snake, you should take the third offering, which gives shape-shifting the ability to heal for three percent per critical hit. Finally, with the Eagle skill you should take the third offering for ten percent attack speed.
Grizzly Rage
The Pulverize Werebear build combines the best of the Earth Skills with the Werebear Skills, making you a rampaging tank. Knocking down your enemies with your Werebear skills and promptly crushing them with the Earth skills is a dangerous combination.
Make sure that you pick out support nodes and gear that will help you deal extra damage with crowd control for this build because you’ll want to get the most out of knocking your enemies prone. Having legendary aspects like Ursine Horror or Mending Stone will only bolster your abilities.
For the Pulverize Werebear build, you’ll want the Deer’s first offering, the Wolf’s third, and the Eagle’s third. Take the Snake as your companion and take its first and third offerings to boost both your Earth skills and help to make you a bit more of a tank.
The swiftness of the werewolf is only complemented by the faster storm skills, especially once you start combining the storm AoE aspects with some of the AoE werewolf skills. This build is all about layering your skills to keep a constant amount of damage going, even when you’re executing some of your basic skills to regenerate your spirit.
On its own, Blood Howl may only regenerate health, but when you have Cyclone Armor active at the same time, you won’t have to worry about taking a break dealing damage. Fast reaction times are key for this build because it’s more than likely that you’re going to burn through your resources quickly.

For the Storm Werewolf, you’ll want the Deer’s second offering, the Snake’s second, and the Eagle’s first. Take the Wolf as your companion to benefit from its second and third offerings, so you’re able to hopefully keep your resource generation pretty high and compensate for your lack of durability.
Grizzly Rage or Lacerate
The Tornado Shifter build is an interesting one because it takes advantage of the speed and durability granted by both shifting forms and it helps you deal a regular amount of AoE damage through the storm skills. If you want a little bit of both worlds, and you like regularly dealing crowd control damage then this is the build for you.
This build works best when you charge into the middle of groups, so you’ll want armor that offers quite a bit of protection. Concerning Legendary Aspects, anything that boots the above skills will do just fine. For the most part, this build works for itself and protects itself fairly well without the boost of Legendary Aspects.
However, you should still be careful when picking out your Druidic Boons. For the Deer spirit, you should probably opt for the second offering. With the Wolf, you should take its third offering, and with the Eagle, you should take the fourth. Take on the Snake Spirit as your companion so you can take both the third and the fourth offerings.
The Natural Disaster build will only work as intended if you have the right Legendary Aspect, which, fortunately, shouldn’t be too hard to get your hands on in the later parts of the game. Specifically, you will need the Aspect of Nature’s Savagery, which tags Werewolf skills as Storm skills and Werebear skills as Earth skills.
When combined with theNature’s Fury key passive, one of the best in the game, you’re going to become an absolute menace on the battlefield. If you may get the Aspect of the Changeling’s Debt, you’ll be practically unstoppable as you poison enemies with Rabies and then immediately destroy them with Werebear and Earth skills.
With this build, most of the Druidic Spirit Boons seem like they’ll work great but there are a few that shine above the rest. The Deer’s second offering is a great choice, as is the Wolf’s Third or Fourth, and the Eagle’s Fourth. You should take the Snake as your companion and take the First and the Fourth, although you should feel free to experiment with any of the Snake’s offerings because, for this build, they’re all good.
