8Mergo’s PSX Lullaby Music Box
Fans of both Bloodborne and Phasmophobia are in for a treat with this mod curated by Box_McNug. Instead of playing the standard music, Mergo’s Lullaby from the Bloodborne PSX Demake will sound, lending a rather spooky atmosphere.
The ghost in the map won’t sing along to the modded Lullaby, unfortunately, but it still adds a new feeling of unease and occasional dread. If you’re familiar with the lore of Bloodborne, the lullaby of Mergo adds the captivating theme of eldritch horror to Phasmophobia and makes the game feel heavy with dread.
7Cat Tarot Card Replacer
To balance out the eldritch horror with funny cats, the Cat Tarot Card Replacer made by Nezertiam will add some humor to your game. Rather than having the standard card faces, each face has been replaced with an adorable cat meme. It doesn’t make the cards less detrimental in some cases, however, sincesome cards are still infinitely more useful than others.
The Hanged Man still instantly kills you, Death still triggers a cursed hunt and The Moon still drops your sanity to zero. It may be wise to give it some consideration before picking up that deck of furry cuteness.
6Phasmophobia: Ghostbusters Edition
Channel the spirit of the original Ghostbusters movies with this texture replacer made by xxxDESPERADOxxx. In this mod, many of the original models and textures of Phasmophobia have been replaced with equipment from the original 1984 hit. Ectoplasm containers and various bits of equipment now litter the map, each complete with the iconic Ghostbusters ghost symbol.

The mod author even added their own easter eggs to the game with references to the movie. Despite the lightheartedness of the textures, the ghosts in the maps are still as dangerous as ever.
5Horror Ambiance
Is Phasmophobia not scary enough for you? This mod might be what you need. Horror Ambiance, made by Moore Gaming, adds audio files that add to the atmosphere of the maps. Many of the audio files are just edits of the original sounds, but some are entirely new and make for a much scarier experience.
The sounds will leave you constantly looking over your shoulder and making you wonder where the ghost is coming from. The mod does an excellent job at instilling a sense of dread and worrywhile you and your friends frantically run and screamwhile being chased.
4Fossu’s Light And Dark Reshade
The lights are your best friend when playing something as nerve-racking as Phasmophobia. The Light and Dark Reshade by Fossu aims to keep lit-up areas nice and bright while adding a new sinister feel to the darkness of the buildings.
The mod also seeks to take out the dark blue hue of unlit areas and makes them more realistic by giving them a look of total darkness. The mod is highly customizable and light values can be changed with ease to provide an optimal experience.
3Phasmophobia Assistant
Rather than having to leave the building to head back to the truck to find one little piece of information on the ghost, you can rely on Phasmophobia Assistant. This mod was made by Ghost aka Boring Life, and adds a menu that keeps track of your current progress, clues found, ghost strengths and weaknesses, and much more.

The mod also comes in various supported languages such as Chinese, Italian, and French. To activate the menu in-game, the default hotkey is PageUp while PageDown hides the assistant. It makes gameplay much less walking back and forth to the truck for information which allows for more time fighting to survive.
2Among Us Tarot Cards
Turn your games of Phasmophobia funnier and a bit more suspicious as you wander the halls of abandoned buildings with the Among Us tarot cards made by MoreOver. Much like the Cat Tarot Card Replacer, the faces of the tarot cards are replaced with our favorite doomed astronauts or an element from Among Us.
Each of the astronauts also has a themed hat to go along with the card name. For example. The Devil has cute little Devil horns. It doesn’t change the gameplay at all, but it’ll guarantee some laughswhile you engage in the usual antics of Phasmophobia.
1Phasmophobia: Scooby-Doo Edition
Lovers of the classic Scooby-Doo cartoon are in for a huge treat. This mod by BigManJD aims to make things a bit more like the show. Sanity pills, the truck, and even the character models all resemble objects from Scooby-Doo.
Many parts of the maps have also been replaced, such as oil barrels being retextured to look like a barrel of Scooby-Snacks. In the future, the mod author plans on having custom audio files, better character textures, and even a ghost from the show as part of the mod.
