Tired of the boring cow patterned cardigan offered by the Seasonal Outfits Set DLC? Now, you’re able to change the ‘cowdigan’s’ color to a handful of mild and cozy vivid colors using this mod. It offers various options in shades like off-white, light yellow, light pink, ashen/gray, etc.
It completely removes the cow pattern of the outfit and changes it to solid plain colors, which certainly looks more aesthetic. Remember that this mod only works after you have installed the Seasonal Outfits Set DLC, and it cannot be installed over another outfit mod.
8Recolored Animals - Cows, Sheep, And Chicken
Be it chickens, sheep or cows,there is a recolor mod available for all these animals in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. you’re able to now change your pink sheep to light gold or white. The chickens to brown, black or even blue! Similarly, a coffee brown color is available for cows, which also gives them a cute heart pattern on their foreheads.
Currently, these mods are only available to download for the Switch version. Installing them on Steam will, unfortunately, output a graphical error.
7Original Color Palette Restoration Project
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has bright and beautiful visuals, quite the opposite of the darker shades of the original. This mod aims to bring back the darker and more realistic environment of the original for the fans who want the same. It primarily desaturates the major objects of the game, like dirt and grass, to make them appear less bright.
It is a work in progress, and more of its updates are on their way. Additionally, this mod only works on the Steam version of the game, at least for now.

Much like the creator of this mod, many of the fans of A Wonderful Life are quite disappointed in the limited hair color selection options of the game. The mod extravagantly solves this problem.
It offers four hair color sets and one eye color set, each of which contains 12 unique colors to choose from for your character, but you can only have one of these installed at a time. Unfortunately, as of now, this mod only works for the Steam version of the game.
4Early Overalls - Why Wait Till Year Four?
It is always annoying when you have to wait for a certain time or progress to a certain event in the game to acquire special items. The same applies to A Wonderful Life, where overalloutfits are only availableafter year four. This mod simply swaps the overalls that you’re able to acquire from Year Four onwards onto the masculine starter outfit.
It includes all of the available in-game variants but, unfortunately, does not add new ones. However, the good part is that you can still use other outfit mods over it without creating any errors.
3Guh’s Reshade Presets - Gives The Game A Darker Look
This simple mod allows the game’s visuals to pop out more. The creator of this mod intended it to resemble the visuals and atmosphere of the original game. Therefore, it gives a darker filter to the game’s environment. It contains two different variants, bright.ini and harvestawl.ini.

While the former provides the game with a mild sepia effect, the latter adds adaptive fog to it, making the game feel more realistic and exciting. This mod is not meant for everyone. However, it surely makes the game more captivating and lively.
2Alternative Player Skin Tone - Five Additional Darker Skin Tones
A Wonderful Life does a terrible job at adding variety to the game when it comes to the character’s skin tone. This mod gives you an option of replacing the default skin tones with five darker ones, so you can have more variety while you play.
All of the skin tones offered by this mod are darker than the darkest skin tone normally available in the game. It also slightly adjusts the skin tones of the in-game children to be slightly darker than usual.
