Stranded: Alien Dawnis a survival game featuring individuals trying to create a base and live in an alien world. The game starts with a spaceship falling from the sky, carrying the mysterious individuals. From here, through the help of extra survivors, you can start farming, hunting, and building houses.
And to get off on the right foot, you need a seed. The seeds range from beach fronts to plateaus and mountains. Each comes with its advantages and difficulties. Some have many resources but also annoying nests that attack your base. This means your choice affects how fast or slow you complete your tasks.
10LLL
LLL is the most gorgeous and captivating seed in Stranded: Alien Dawn. The large blue lake and picturesque surroundings make it a favorite for most gamers. There are plenty of resources to choose from, and you’ll get an extra survivor after a week.
There are several starting breakthroughs like Graphene Solar, Battery Optimization, and Carbon Wind Turbines. If you are looking for challenges from the start, LLL provides a balance between challenges and resources.
9DUMA-KEY
The DUMA-KEY seed also comes with all the resources you need. They include Chew Root, Grain Grass, and Beef Berries. Like LLL, you’ll get an extra survivor within one week. Although the resources are plenty, there are few trees for wood.
This can derail your progress significantly, but with a thought-through strategy, you’re able to manage the obstacle. Starting breakthroughs are Hay Cloth, Fuel Fermentation, Printed Components, Improved Solar Cells, and Battery Optimization.
8POWER-OVERWHELMING
Fancy a mountainous plateau to start your home? POWER-OVERWHELMING got you sorted. A resource-rich plateau, it protects your home from ever-invading nests in other seeds. That said, there’s a nearby nest you need to take care of. And once you’ve done so, you can enjoy enemy-free living.
You’ll get an extra survivor after a week to help you build your base. Although having a chaotic start, which can make many shy away, it soon transitions to a calm environment. Starting breakthroughs are Sleep Training, Meat Printing, Laser Pistol, Hay Sausage, Hay Cloth, and Improved Laser Pistol.
7LACK-SHIFT
If flat areas are your cup of tea, LACK-SHIFT is an ideal world. It affords you two choices; an inland base and one that overlooks a lake. The lake base is beautiful but not as expansive as the inland option. Resources are awash in both for easier expansion.
That said, there are annoying nests nearby, which are easy to deal with. And when the wild animals fight, there’s plenty of meat to collect. The most appealing aspect of this seed is that you get two walk-in survivors. Starting breakthroughs are Carbon Wind Turbines, Battery Optimization, Improved Laser Pistol, and Improved Solar Cells.
6JIBBER-JABBER
This seed starts with a scenic view of a large plateau that overlooks the expansive area. A gorgeous moonrise is a sight to behold. What makes it a convenient seed is that all resources are within reach. But Cotton is far away at the cliff’s base.
You’ll also get an early walk-in around the fifth day. The falling spaceship debris might destroy your supplies, which is quite unfortunate. Your starting breakthroughs are Sleep Training, Ore Prospecting, Printed Components, Fuel Fermentation, and Improved Pulse Rifles.
5CALM-TUNE
This seed provides a Lightning Rod to start your expansion. A walk-in survivor will soon join you as you clear the spaceship debris. Of course, this makes life easier. Not to mention the Lighting Rod and Research Desk you receive when starting the game.
There are several starting breakthroughs including Improved Laser Pistol, Fuel Fermentation, Carbon Wind Tubes, Printed Components, and Battery Optimization.
4FOLD-BUY
While not as expansive as LACK-SHIFT, you get a rather ideal flat area to start an expansion. The resources are not far away, meaning you’re able to have all you want in a flash. And the nest is quite a distance, making the seed more appealing.
However, the tall grass, needed for Wheat, is a bit far away. But it’s manageable. Your starting breakthroughs are Carbon Wind Tubes, Battery Optimization, Ore Prospecting, Graphene Solar Cells, and Fuel Fermentation.
3CITY-HAT
With this seed, you start your base in a mountainous area with many resources like shelter, water, and food. There’s lots of game in the forest, which fight occasionally. And when they do, you may bet you’ll get plenty of food to feed on.
While there are a few nests nearby, dealing with them is seamless. So, don’t shy away from starting with this seed. But keep in mind the five pieces of debris that crash around your base. Starting breakthroughs are Graphene Solar Cells, Ore Prospecting, Carbon Wind Tubes, Battery Optimization, and Fuel Fermentation.
2MOTOR-FIGURE
MOTOR-FIGURE is a useful seed that provides you with three survivors. And one is an early walk-in, making base building seamless. If you want a large team to start, this is definitely a seed to consider. Your starting breakthroughs are Carbon Armor, Battery Optimization, Printed Components, Meat Printing, and Sleep Training.
Curiously, players are still finding out things about this seed. But if you are into surprises, it is worth your time.
1COW-ZONE
COW-ZONE is yet another resource-heavy seed you can start with. A popular option among gamers, there’s plenty of grass that allows you to grow crops. Water is also plenty, thanks to the lakes nearby. And if you want to store your farm produce, you can do so in the few caves available.
The green flat land also has a conducive environment. And while trees are hard to come by, you can work your way around this by planting them. Your starting breakthroughs are Sleep Training, Improved Railgun Snipers, Chitin Synthetics, Battery Optimization, and Balloon Optimization.
