In the indie shooterBattleBit Remastered, you’ll encounter a large variety of weapons that can be utilized throughout the massive multiplayer warfare available in the game. One particularly powerful classification of these weapons is SMGs, smaller guns that quickly release bullets and deal the most damage in close quarters.

While the warfare in BattleBit Remastered may involve large-scale maps, there are still plenty of interior areas or objective points where these weapons can truly turn the tide of a battle. Furthermore, all the SMGs in the game can be fully customized, meaning you can adjust the range and rate of fire to make these guns conform to your needs. If you are curious about which SMG you should equip before a fight, look no further.
This list will include Personal Defense Weapons, as they fire and function exactly like regular SMG weapons.
9Honey Badger
While the Honey Badger is widely adored by most of thefamous shooters on the market,in BattleBit Remastered this SMG completely falls flat. The Honey Badger is capable of dishing out 32 damage per bullet, the gun is severely hindered by multiple debilitating factors.
Specifically, the gun only carries 24 bullets in a magazine, forcing you to reload during the heat of combat. Since the reload speed is well over four seconds, you’ll be exposing yourself to enemies constantly whenever you fire this weapon.
Sadly, the worst aspect of the Honey Badger is the intense amount of vertical and horizontal recoil. Whenever you attempt to shoot at an opponent, you will find your gun firing widely, making the Honey Badger almost impossible to control.
8PP-2000
If you want to use an SMG while playing BattleBit Remastered, then we seriously recommend not using the PP-2000. Not only does this gun deal a very small amount of damage per bullet, but the weapon itself excels at absolutely nothing.
While the gun has 40 bullets per magazine, there are multiple areas of the PP-2000 that are completely blocked from customization. This means that you will never be able to attach things like grips to your PP-2000, cementing this SMG as a completely useless option to choose from.
7UMP-45
The UMP-45 is quite an interesting SMG since it actually excels at dealing damage at medium-to-long range. Specifically, if you have yet to unlock certain assault rifles, then you can attach a medium-range scope to this SMG, and dish out consistent damage from further away.

You may recognize that this gun is very similar to the MP7, as they both deal 25 damage per bullet while carrying a magazine that also contains 25 bullets. However, unlike the MP7 the UMP-45 falls flat at close range, meaning that you should always cover yourself from flanks if you chose to equip this SMG.
6PP19
The PP19 is another SMG that does not excel in any one area but still provides an adequate amount of damage. Sadly, without upgrading this weapon, you will find your shots going wide due to the large amount of recoil whenever you fire.
While there are other weapons in the game that dish out better damage with more consistency, there is a magazine attachment that brings the reload time down to just two seconds. Furthermore, this attachment also improves your accuracy, meaning you can more damage from medium distances.
5MP7
As the starter SMG, the MP7 is actually an incredibly versatile weapon that can be used in a plethora ofdifferent first-personclose-range scenarios. While this gun has the lowest velocity among all the SMGs, the MP7 has incredible recoil and a substantial rate of fire.
This means that you can seamlessly deal damage without worrying about recoil ruining your accuracy. However, if you want to continue using this gun, then you must equip a grip that will decrease the reload speed, as you can not in increase the bullet magazine on the MP7.
4GROZA
As a personal defense weapon, the GROZA can be used in multiple combat scenarios but is best utilized when customized as an SMG. With a 30-round magazine and a large amount of damage per bullet, you will be able to deal consistent damage at medium range.
However, while this gun is a great option, the bullets of the gun can become bugged and actually affect your accuracy. Specifically, this gun may glitch and shoot the bullets out of your character’s head, meaning your sights will incorrectly display where you are shooting.
3MP5
If you want to equip an SMG that deals the same amount of damage as an assault rifle, then the MP5 is the perfect choice for you. At 29 damage per bullet, you will shred through enemies instantly, and an upgraded grip will allow you to reload quickly in the heat of warfare.

However, unlike an assault rifle, the MP5 does not have a high velocity, meaning you will only be able to deal damage at close range. Luckily, this gun has an agreeable amount of recoil, meaning you can still consistently land all of your shoots.
2P90
With a base damage of 28 per bullet and a magazine of 50 bullets, the P90 is one of the most consistent and overpowered SMGs in BattleBit Remastered. Since you have so many bullets in a single clip, you can actually engage multiple enemies at once without worrying about reloading during combat.
Furthermore, if you do find yourself reloading the gun, then you will be glad to note that the speed of the reload will not leave you exposed for multiple seconds. Overall, the P90 has so many benefits, that the lower velocity is almost completely unnoticed whenever you use the gun.
1Kriss Vector
If you have played even one match of BattleBit Remastered, then the chances are high that you have been instantly mowed downby a medicwielding the Kriss Vector. Boasting the highest rate of fire in the entire game, this gun deals damage so quickly that it is almost impossible to react to the weapon.
While the Kriss Vector only deals 24 damage per bullet, you will be firing so quickly that the small amount of damage is essentially void. Furthermore, you may even upgrade the magazine to carry 60 bullets, meaning you can shred through multiple enemies with just a single magazine.
Finally, the gun does have a significant amount of recoil, but it can be countered by various attachments that increase the weapon’s accuracy. Overall, since the only weakness of this gun is its range, you should instantly equip this SMG if you are battling at close range.
