While exploring the vast lands of Hyrule inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll come across various settlements. Some are the focus of main quests, while others are smaller stops in your journey that are still worth visiting nonetheless.

As the game has numerous regions and a huge map, you might be wondering whether you’ve found every settlement or the best paths to reach a particular few. We’ve outlined every settlement and their locations below for you.

Yamiyo Shrine
Ishodag Shrine
Lookout Landing is the first settlement you’ll visit after descending from the Great Sky Islands. It’s located tothe north of Hyrule Field, just before the ruins of Castle Town.

Tukarok Shrine
Eshos Shrine
Beginning at Lookout Landing, take the roadheading east. Take the second left so that youcross Rebonae Bridge. After crossing the bridge, take thepath on the right, past Wetland Stable and the Tukarok Shrine.
Keep following the path. At the fork in the road,take the road left, so that you see theLanayru Wetlands on your left. Keep following the road and you’ll reach Kakariko Village’s entrance.

Rabella Welands or Mount Lanayru
Anedamimik Shrine
Zakusu Shrine
The easiest way to reach Hateno Village when you begin the game is topass through Kakariko Villageandtake the road south. After crossing the bridge, take the road east through Fort Hateno.
You can alternativelyexit Hyrule Field to the south, follow the path to theeast of the Great Plateau, passing through Dueling Peaks Stable, andcontinue the road east.

Apogek Shrine
Joniu Shrine
The easiest way to access Zora’s Domain isthrough Lanayru Wetlands, which can be accessed through the roads northeast of Hyrule Field. Thethree northernmost roads, which are east of Lookout Landing, will lead you directly to the domain.
When you reach thefork in the path as you’re leaving the Wetlandsand entering the Zora River area,take the path on the rightand follow it until you reach the domain.

Jochi-ihiga Shrine
Domizuin Shrine
Similar to Zora’s Domain, the road to Tarrey Town ismost easily accessed through the Lanayru Wetlands.
When leaving the Lanayru Wetlands to the north and reaching the fork in the path,take the road to the left. This will take youbehind Zora’s Domain and into Akkala.
A little further up this path, you’ll reach a second fork. Take the pathon the rightand continue until you reach another fork in the road.
There are a few routes to take to Tarrey Town here, but for the most straight forward path,take the road to the right. Continueeast along the main road, and you’ll begin to head north.
Eventually, there will bea path on the left, leading to an outcropping, where Tarrey Town is located.
If you have enough stamina, you can take a shortcut byparagliding northwest from the Rasitakiwak Shrine.

Tokiy Shrine
Joju-u-u Shrine
There are two easy routes to Lurelin Village, depending on whether you come fromHyrule Field or the outskirts of Hateno Village.
From Hyrule Field
Exiting from the south of Hyrule Field,pass the Kamizun Shrine and the Great Plateauandfollow the path to Lake Hylia.
Here, you can either take on the Fire Gleeok that blocks the path, orwalk around the outskirts of the lakeuntil you reach the path again on the other side.
Gleeoks areone of the toughest enemiesin the game. verify you’reprepared with powerful weapons, upgraded armor, and health-restoring mealsif you decide to take it on.
Continue on the path beyond Lake Hylia until you reach the fork in the road.Take the left path, continuing through the thick woods.
As you follow this path, there will be another fork —take the left path again. You should reach Lakeside Stable.Go across Floria Bridgeand exit this area.
Continue following this path. When you see a path open up on the right,continue straight. Following this path will now lead you straight into Lurelin Village.
From Hateno Village
Leave Hateno Villagefrom the west. At the first fork,turn left. Take theleft road at the next two forks. Continue the path, and you’ll reachLoshlo Harbor, on the coast.
Follow theedge of the coast south. When you reach an outcropping known as Cape Cales, you caneither scale the cliffs or swim and climb across the rocksto reach Palmorae Beach.
Once you’re at the beach,continuing heading west to reach Lurelin Village.

Kisinona Shrine
Ekochiu Shrine
To reach Goron City, take the pathdirectly east of Hyrule Castle, passing the Yamiyo and Sepapa Shrines on the way. Continue on the path, and you’ll reachWoodland Stable.
From Woodland Stable,take the road north. At the Ekochiu Shrine,take the path on the right. This leads you straight up Death Mountain.
Further up the path, there’s a fork —take the left path.
Taking a right here will lead you to Bedrock Bistro anda hot spring, where you can replenish your hearts for free.
Continue tofollow this path straight up the mountain, and it will lead you straight to Goron City.

Sikukuu Shrine
Tenmaten Shrine
Finding the Korok Forest is a little more complicated than simply walking there. You will need toenter through the Minshi Woods Chasm, which you can find by taking the roaddirectly east of Hyrule Castle and turning left at the Ekochiu Shrine.
You will need eitherBrightbloom Seedsor theMiners Setto brighten up the depths.
Dive into the chasm andhead northwest into Korok Grove. Use the surface map as reference to make sure you’re heading in the right direction.
Head towards the center, where there will be a large pillar.Use Ascend on this, and you’ll arrive in Korok Forest on the surface.

Sahirow Shrine
Wao-os Shrine
Rito Village is located in the far west of Hyrule, in Hebra. Rather than heading straight for the village,aim for the Rospro Pass Skyview Towerso that you can bypass climbing up to reach the village itself.
Starting from Lookout Landing,head westand leave the Hyrule Field area bypassing the Ishodag Shrine. After crossing Carok Bridge, you’ll reachNew Serenne Stable. When you leave the stable, the road forks —take the left road, heading south.
Continue following this path. When it forks again,take the road on the right, heading west. Continue on this road, and you’ll eventually reachTabantha Bridge Stable.
Past here,cross the Tabantha Great Bridge and continue the path. You’ll reach the Lucky Clover Gazette, where the path forks.
You can take the west road from Lucky Clover Gazette and go straight towards Rito Village here, butthe bridge is broken, and you’ll need to do a lot of strategic climbing to reach it.
Take the road southand follow it west around the bottom of the village.
The path diverges towards the north —take the path on the right here to reach Hebra Trailhead Lodge. you may climb up the cliffs here andreach the Skyview Tower on your left.
Once you’veunlocked the tower, paraglide south to land in the village.

Chichim Shrine
Karahatag Shrine
When you visit Gerudo Town, it will becovered in a sand shroud, which makes your map unusableuntil you complete the region’s temple.
As Gerudo Town is found in thesouthwest of Hyrule, the ideal path beginssouth of Hyrule Field.
Passing the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower,head south, and thenfollow the path west along the top edge of the Great Plateau. You should find yourself at Outskirt Stable.
From here,take the road south, crossing the Digdogg Suspension Bridge. This leads you to theGerudo Canyon Pass. Keep going south here. When the road diverges,take the road going left.
Follow the path around until youbegin heading north, and continue following it. You should reachGerudo Canyon Stable.
From here, you’ll leave the canyon and enter the desert,where your map will be of no use.
Head southwest, in a straight, but diagonal line. Halfway, you’ll reachKara Kara Bazaar.
Return to the Shrine hereif you lose your way in the desert.
Further along, there’s a Desert Rift, which is extremely difficult to cross. When you reach it,walk along it to the northuntil you find the clear path and cross it. Continue southwest to find Gerudo Town.
