The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Backpack Korok Plush

The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Backpack Korok Plush

How Did They All Get Lost Again?

The Legend Of Zelda’s Koroks returned in Tears of the Kingdom, and they brought backpacks with them. While most of them come in pairs in TOTK, these plushes are sold individually, but they are carrying their big brown backpacks.

When we all returned to Hyrule in 2023 for Tears Of The Kingdom, we had one question - what happened to all the Koroks? Turned out they all got lost again and it was up to Link - so us - to track them down and reunite them with their Korok buddies. On the bright side, they were even more adorable than before, making them perfect plush fodder.

The Legend Of Zelda Octorok Mega Mocchi

Tears Of The Kingdom’s Backpack Koroks were turned into plushes pretty quickly after the game’s release. Surprising as even though The Wind Waker’s Koroks have their own plushes, as you’ll see a little further down this guide, Breath Of The Wild’s never were. They’re reasonably priced too, although you will need to pay double if you want to pair them up like you do in the game.

The Legend Of Zelda Octorok Mega Mocchi

Ocotoks Have Never Looked So Adorable

Ocotork’s are a villain in The Legend of Zelda series, spitting all sorts at Link for years. This Mocchi plush version of the creature looks a lot happier than any I’ve ever seen and thankfully, won’t try to spit anything at you.

Hyrule has been littered with iconic villains for decades, but there aren’t many as synonymous with The Legend Of Zelda as Ocotoroks. The only reason they might not immediately spring to mind when thinking about Zelda baddies is because their design has been tweaked quite a bit over the years. That’ll happen when your earliest and most recent video game appearances are almost 40 years apart.

The Wind Waker Princess Zelda Plush

Most of the Ocotorok designs over the years wouldn’t lend themselves to a plush, particularly one that looks adorable. Nintendo powered through and made it happen, though, making an Octorok a part of Tomy’s Mocchi Mocchi collection of plushes which are big and cuddly. Definitely not like the Octoroks you’ll find in the games, just bear that in mind next time you head back to Hyrule.

The Wind Waker Princess Zelda Plush

Classic Princess Zelda

This adorable plush is of Princess Zelda in The Wind Waker, with delicate embroidery to add detail to her facial features and additional felt used for her accessories, such as her tiara.

Wind Waker is a fan favorite installment in the series and one with a very unique art style compared to other Zelda games. That’s what makes this particular Zelda plush so unique as her likeness in Wind Waker has been lovingly applied via her appearance and her outfit, capturing the character perfectly.

The Wind Waker Link Plush

Her facial features, including the colorful blue eyeshadow from her Wind Waker design, have been embroidered, and she’s wearing a felt, gold-colored tiara on her head. At eight inches tall, she won’t take up too much space when on display, especially since the plush needs to be sitting down.

Hero of Winds

Toon Link as he appears in The Wind Waker translates perfectly into plush form. He wears the iconic Hero’s New Clothes and holds his trusty sword in his left hand.

The Hero of Winds takes the form of Toon Link, and it’s almost as if this design were made to be a plush. Wearing his traditional green tunic and matching hat, dubbed the Hero’s New Clothes in The Wind Waker, this Link plush perfectly captures the character’s essence. His trademark cartoon eyes are embroidered into the fabric, and he’s even got a plush sword to keep him safe.

Hylian Shield Plush

Just like the matching Princess Zelda plush, Wind Waker Link is a modest eight inches tall. You could display him on his own, or, of course, or pair him up with the Zelda plush. Id' recommend the latter, it’s what the two of them would want.

Hylian Shield Plush

The one and only shield!

The essential shield for any hero. This plush is designed to replicate the Hylian Shield, from its protective shape to the Hylian Crest and Triforce details used for the pattern on the front.

Korok Plush

Featured in many Zelda games, includingOcarina of Time,Twilight Princess, andTears of the Kingdom, the Hylian Shield is an iconic part of the series, serving as Link’s reliable source of protection as he takes on monsters across Hyrule before clashing with Ganon in various forms. In plush form, it’s not likely to protect you from the evil Demon King, but it does make a great decoration piece, or even a comfy cushion thanks to its generous size.

Just like in the games, this plush features the intricate design of the Hylian Shield, from its royal blue base to the Hylian Crest and Triforce featured in the center. If you want something a little different from your usual character-inspired plush, the Hylian Shield is a great pick.

Breath Of The Wild Princess Zelda Plush

Korok Plush

Yahaha!

The Legend of Zelda’s little forest spirits look great in plush form. Bigger than your usual plush, this Korok is super huggable and is inspired by Makar from The Wind Waker.

Luckily, you don’t need to traipse around the misty Lost Woods or complete 1,000 puzzles to find this plush. These little forest critters have appeared in The Wind Waker,Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom, though this particular plush takes inspiration from Makar’s design in the first of those three games.

Breath Of The Wild Link Plush

It’s made from soft, huggable material, and comes is 15 inches tall, making it a pretty sizeable plush. Whether you’re a fan of the Koroks' original appearance on the GameCube or enjoyed finding them across Hyrule in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, you can’t go wrong with adding this plush to your collection.

Breath Of The Wild Princess Zelda Plush

Princess of Calamity

Princess Zelda is taking a break from researching Guardians and her power to hang out in your plush collection. The plush uses her Breath of the Wild design, complete with the braids across her head and belt for the Sheikah Slate.

Breath of the Wild saw a new design for Princess Zelda, differing from most of her other designs in games earlier in the series. Rather than donning royal dresses, this Zelda prefers clothes suitable for researching ancient Sheikah technology - though you can still see the noble influences through the inclusion of the Triforce and the primarily royal blue color scheme.

This plush delightfully recreates Zelda’s Breath Of The Wild design, down to the braids and clips in her golden hair. Zelda also has a belt around her waist with a pouch attached to it, perfect for storing her Sheikah Slate. The plush is 12 inches tall, though a little shorter when sitting down, so perfect for displaying on your Zelda shelf. Oh yeah, I know you’ve got one.

Hero of the Wild

The Hero of the Wild’s design is a departure from all the Links that came before him, but you have to admit the blue Champion’s Tunic suits him a great deal. This plush uses that design without forgetting important small details, like Link’s earrings.

When he’s not busy exploring every inch of Hyrule, finding hundreds of Koroks, and fighting off Calamity Ganon, Breath of the Wild Link could be sitting on your shelf via this plush. Link swapped his traditional green attire for the blue Champion’s Tunic in Breath of the Wild, which is recreated with detail in this plush, down to the embroidered Master Sword silhouette down the front.

The details don’t end there, though, as this Link wouldn’t be complete without his complimentary blue earrings and hairband. On his back, you’ll find the trusty sword and shield that he uses to take down those pesky Bokoblins.

FAQ

Shigeru Miyamoto named Zelda after a famous painter called Zelda Fitzgerald. Thinking the name sounded “pleasant and significant”, not only did he name the series' Princess after Fitzgerald, but he opted to name the games themselves after her too despite Link being the protagonist.

What Is Zelda Short For?

The name Zelda is often a shortened form of the name Griselda. However, there has never been any evidence to suggest that’s the case for Nintendo’s Zelda.
