There’s plenty to see and do in the Korok Forest inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and among those side quests is a fun little treasure hunt for a Korok named Walton. He’s creating this treasure hunt for the other Koroks and needs your help to test out his hiding spots.

And in exchange for helping the little guy, you’ll be receiving some sweet weaponry with the Forest Dweller set of weapons, shields, and bows. We’ve pinned down where to find all three of the items for Walton’s Treasure Hunt on and around the Great Deku Tree.

This guide contains spoilers for the Korok Forest section of Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Find Walton

The first thing you’ll need to do in order to access the Walton’s Hidden Treasures quest is to finishclearing the Korok Forest of gloom.

Once the Korok Forest has returned to normal, there’s plenty to do in the Forest, but to find Walton, you’ll need toclimb to the top of the Deku Tree.

You can also choose toAscendby going into the room with theDeku Tree Chasm. You’ll Ascend into the Deku Tree’s mouth first, and then will need to Ascend again.

The hidden room in the Deku Tree’s mouth is where you’ll get theKorok Paraglider Fabric.

Walton’s Treasure Hunt Locations And Rewards

When Walton begins to give you hints about his treasures, he’ll do sousing the Deku Tree’s features as a guide.

Walton’s treasure is all stuff that Link can use –weapons and shields– and you not only get to keep what you find, but you’ll receive a final reward for finding all of Walton’s treasures.

Walton’s Hidden Treasures, Part One

Your first clue is that the items Walton has hidden areabove the Deku Tree’s face.

One of them, theForest Dweller’s Spear,is leaning against a piece of the Deku Treejust across from Walton. This spear canrenew finite resourcesthat you attach until the weapon itself breaks.

The second piece of this treasure can be found if youclimb the tree behind Walton. From the ground, you’ll see part of theForest Dweller’s Swordjutting from the wood just above Walton.

Return to Waltonfor your next task.

Walton’s Hidden Treasures, Part Two

The next treasure isbelow the Deku Tree’s face. There’s quite a lot of the Korok Forest that fits that description, but head to theopening in the Deku Treeout in front, where you normally enter to find the inn and shops.

Don’t go insideyet – you should see the glint that tells you there’s something to pick up offto theleft of the openinginto the Deku Tree.

you may eitherclimb up the Great Deku Treea bit to grab it physically, oruse Ultrahandto get it down.

Either way, this is yourForest Dweller’s Shield, so grab it and head back to Walton.

Walton’s Treasure Hunt Reward

When you head back to Walton after the second section of the “Walton’s Treasure Hunt” quest, answer his questions to learn thatyou keep the weaponsyou found.

Not only that, but Walton has one last reward for your help – theForest Dweller’s Bow, whichfires three arrows at once.

The weapons for Walton’s Treasure Hunt respawn periodically, so you may get them again if you use yours until they break.
