Even though theDigimon Card Gameis one of the most cost-friendly TCGs out at the moment, some of the harder-to-find promos can run up the bill by quite a few zeroes.Bandaiis constantly announcing new in-person and online events with incredible prize cards that are sought after by players and collectors alike for their unique artwork and max rarity status.

Since some of these cards were only available during the period that the events were running, like their Ultimate Cup events, some older Promo cards are not available to obtain other than in the secondary market, making their price very hard to justify to your bank.
This article uses theTCGPlayer market price.
10WereGarurumon (2021 Championship Online Regional Champion) - $249.99
The monster that ruled over the BT9 format, this Promo of Matt Ishida’s Ultimate companion WereGarurumon allows you to unsuspend when attacking, leading into some overbearing OTK combos with the right cards in hand.
This promo was only available during regional events held back in 2021 and Bandai only held 17 events that year. Not counting any remaining packs that were distributed in 2022, there are only about 17 of the Champion stamped version of this card. Good thing you’ll only need one copy of this now limited to one copy per deck card.
9Omnimon (Across Time Box Promo) - $264.13
Included inside booster boxes of BT12 Across Time as a box topper promo, this alternate art of the iconic Omnimon was a chase card with an extremely low pull rate. The box topper pack included foil versions of six other cards included in the main set.
There is no official pull rate listed on the card, but it is rumored to be one in every six cases, making thisClassic Collection-inspired cardhighly sought after by max rarity collectors everywhere.
8Magnamon (Tamer Party -Special-) - $325.85
Bandai usually allows local game stores to host events, known as Tamer Parties, as small events aimed at newcomers to the game, so they can learn how to play and earn exclusive cards while they’re at it.

In one of its Tamer Parties, Bandai included a chase variant ofone of the Royal Knights, Magnamon. This new version of the card is based on the Classic Collection look from EX1 and the older Digimon Card Game. Just like the Omnimon, there is no sure way to know what the pull rate is on these, since Tamer Party events are very few and far between.
7Gallantmon (Ultimate Cup) - $400
Ultimate Cup is an official event series sanctioned by Bandai where special rules are introduced into the tournament. The 2023 version of the Ultimate Cup that gave away Gallantmon, as prizing ran with a modified ban list to restrict certain problematic cards at the time. You were also only allowed to play mono-colored decks unless the dual-colored card contained your main color as one of the two.
This Gallantmon is quite pricey due to it only being given out to finalists who placed in Top Eight of the tournament.
6Greymon (Premier TO Event June 2021) - $454.14
Hands down one of the coolest Greymon cards in the game at the moment. Sadly this fantastic card was only handed out to Top 32 players in one of the early runs of tournaments from big tournament organizers like Top Cut in North America or Coqui in Latin America.
There were only seven of these events ran all over the world during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning all the prize cards have been accounted for and there are only 224 copies of this card in the world. It may not seem that much, but when you think about needing four copies for a playset, your wallet will start to ache.
5Imperialdramon Fighter Mode (Ultimate Cup 2022) - $979.95
A DNA Digivolution of two of the most popular Digimon was one of the prizes for placing in Top Eight during the 2022 run of Ultimate Cups. Unlike the 2023 run of Ultimate Cups, this one did not include its own banlist, but rather, it allowed a side deck and the option to use a mulligan when drawing your opening hand, an option that was not allowed in the official rules during that time.

All the Imperialdramon Fighter Mode cards have been distributed, and there are only 184 cards in the wild.
4UlforceVeedramon (DC-1 Grand Prix) - $999
The DC-1 Grand Prix was one of the first tournament series for the Digimon Card Game in the Western market. Since it ran during the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the events were held online, with players battling it out over a webcam. While it was difficult to grow and flourish a competitive scene in those conditions, players made it work and were rewarded for placing in Top Eight with a beautiful alternate art of the fastest Royal Knight.
This is originally one of the most expensive cards in the game, since very few DC-1 tournaments were held and the game was still in its infancy.
3Gallantmon (DC-1 2022) -$1,000
Just like the UlforceVeedramon, Bandai kept up the tradition of making each of the series’ protagonists the prizing for their DC-1 events. For the 2022 run of tournaments, we received a stunning Gallantmon, right in time for the new support coming out shortly after.
In the same fashion as the 2021 run, this DC-1 did not have many events, meaning you have to make a small down payment for a playset of this awesome caped Digimon.
2WarGreymon (premier TO Event June 2021) - $2,950
Some might argue that this card has been power crept by now due to the many newer and better WarGreymon cards that have been released since then, but now, this card has become a collector commodity rather thana meta staple.
Given out to the Top Eight players in this small run of events during the early days of the card game, this WarGreymon will look better on your shelf rather than single-sleeved in your Greymon deck.
1Gallantmon Crimson Mode (Ultimate Cup) - $3,600
Just by looking at this beautiful artwork drawn by one of the Digimon lead designers, the legendary Kenji Watanabe, you’re able to see the money spewing out of the card. Guilmon, already a fan-favorite, makes his final mode Gallantmon Crimson Mode, even more desirable for players.
Gallantmon is already known in the community as a deck for die-hard fans. It’s not particularly the best, but a solid group of players will die trying to make this deletion-based deck work against any odds.
The top prizing for 2022 and 2023 Ultimate Cups have been high-price cards like Imperialdramon Paladin Mode (~$15,000) and two printings of Omnimon (~$4,000-7,000) but due to their low amount distributed, there are no sales on TCGPlayer. Determining their actual value is set as any amount that their owner believe they are worth, so it’s difficult to place them appropriately.
