InThe Sims 4, when your Sim completes the steps of their aspiration, fulfills their wants, orachieves a milestone, they will receive satisfaction points, which can be redeemed in the reward store. There are other reward traits that can be gained in the game through completing aspirations or reaching a high level in a career, but only reward traits from the rewards store are featured in this list.

There are also potions available in the rewards store, such as the Confident Potion, which can only be used once and will temporarily alter your Sims mood. The other rewards will act as additional traits for your Sim that will permanently alter them and your gameplay, from small changes such as altering your Sim’s needs to giving them the power to bring another Sim back to life.

12Mentor

If you give your Sim the Successful Lineage aspiration, the ability for your Sim to mentor another is a requirement to complete the aspiration. If not, it is still a beneficial thing for your Sim to have. When they reach the top level in certain skills, you will be able to use the Mentor reward trait to teach other Sims the skill.

If a Sim is being mentored, their skill gain will be much quicker than usual. This trait is one of the cheaper ones, costing only 1,000 satisfaction points. Some skills that are available for mentoring include painting, guitar, handiness, and fitness.

11Always Welcome

Sometimes, when your Sim is visiting another Sim’s home for the first time, they may have come with low hygiene or hunger. If you don’t want to use cheats to remedy their situation, but don’t want to have to go through loading screens to get them back home, you may try to sneak a quick shower or snack.

Unfortunately, your hosts won’t like that, and it will cause negative relationship points or even get your Sim kicked out. With the Always Welcome reward trait, costing only 500 satisfaction points, your Sim could take a bath and cook a grand meal in any home they want.

10Observant

It takes a long time for Sims to get to know one another, and if your Sim is scouting for their potential partner, but you want to avoidan undesirable traitsuch as non-committal, then the Observant trait is the perfect pick. For 500 satisfaction points, your Sim can know every trait of a Sim immediately after introducing themselves.

Three traits are the only thing they can discover about the Sim, though, not any of their likes, dislikes, or their reward traits. You’ll still have to work to learn those things, but the Observant reward trait takes care of the most important parts for you.

9Connections

When trying to start your career, it can really help to know someone. With the Connections reward trait, at a pretty high price of 3,000 satisfaction points your Sim will be able to know the right people to get them started at level four in any career.

No matter what skills your Sim may have, they can jump right up the corporate ladder. It will help to know some things in your chosen career, though, as from then on your Sim will have to work just as hard as they usually do to not just advance further in their career, but to keep it, too.

8Frugal

Without any cheats, living in the Sims 4 is not always inexpensive, and if your Sim hasn’t reached a high level in their career yet, the bills can start adding up. With the frugal reward trait, costing a not-so-frugal 2,000 satisfaction points, will reduce your Sim’s bills by 25 percent.

If you have multiple Sims in the household and each one of them has the frugal reward trait, the bill will be reduced by a percentage for each Sim. Four frugal Sims won’t reduce the amount by 100 percent, though, as the rate gets adjusted to account for multiple Sims.

7Professional Slacker

The nine-to-five work life isn’t for every Sim, and some are more interested in spending their time doing their hobbies, or hanging out with friends. But, your Sim still needs a steady flow of Simoleons to get by, so if your Sim is too busy living life to go to work, they may need the Professional Slacker reward trait.

With this trait, which costs a hefty 4,000 satisfaction points, your Sim can never get fired from their job–no matter what they do. Skip a week of work? No problem. Leave work a few hours early? That’s alright! While it may take more time for your Sim to advance in their career, they’ll never lose it.

6Free Services

Not every Sim is a chef, so they may be ordering pizza every night. Or, perhaps, they don’t have the neat trait and do have a tendency of leaving dirty dishes all over the house. Maybe your Sim is a single parent with seven rowdy toddlers in need of some help.

Whatever their need, there is a service available through their phone to remedy it. But, the cost of those helping hands can start adding up after just a short time. The Free Services reward trait is a one-time cost of 1,500 satisfaction points, and then every phone service will be free of charge for your Sim.

With the Incredibly Friendly reward trait, your Sim never has to worry about making new friends again. For 2,000 satisfaction points, your Sim can be the most liked in their entire neighborhood.

When meeting new Sims and using the friendly introduction interaction, your Sim will immediately gain about a 30 percent boost to the relationship bar with their new friend. This reward trait is perfect for a Sim with the Friend of the World aspiration, as it will help them breeze through the requirements of making friends.

4Carefree

Has your Sim ever come home from a long day or work so tense, that every task is pretty much impossible for them to complete? No homework for a tense child or teen Sim, no skill building for a tense adult Sim. It seems the only thing your Sim will be able to do for the next few hours is start complaining to other Sims about how tense they are.

The moodlet can be tough to work with, and if it’s making you tense, too, then giving your Sim the Carefree reward trait will help you both relax. For 3,000 satisfaction points, your Sim will never feel tense again, and they’ll surely get a lot more done.

3Savant

Learning a new skill isn’t always easy, and it can take a Sims entire life stage to pick a new one up. With the Savant reward trait, your Sim will gain skills 25 percent faster than average. At a price of 4,000 satisfaction points, your Sim will be able to pick up the guitar one day and sell out stadiums by the end of the week.

If your Sim has an aspiration in the knowledge category, such as Renaissance Sim, they will have the Quick Learner trait which boosts their skill-building time. Savant is stackable with that trait, so if your Sim has both, they’ll be able to learn even faster.
