Where Do You Get Whispering Keys?
Whispering Keys are purchased at thePurveyor of Curiostieswhich is a shop marked on your map by a small bag with a question mark on it.
You can see one in Yelesna marked in the image above. These shops are locatedacross Sanctuary, butyou can always use the Town Portal to quickly head back and empty your coffers of Murmuring Obols.
Whispering Keys costs20 Murmuring Obolsand when you use them to unlock a chest, you have a chance to get a variety of items - it’s basically like rolling in the shop for an item, except you get it out of a chest.
Locked chests are located across Sanctuary in a variety of places -it’s a good idea to buy 4-5 Whispering Keysso that you always have a few on hand in-case you bump into any chests.
What Are Murmuring Obols?
Murmuring Obols are a currency dropped while you complete world events. These regularly spawn and can be done solo, in a group, or with other players on the map.
As well as purchasingWhispering Keys, you can also use them to gamble for powerful new items - especially useful if you’re hunting a specific Aspect for a certain piece of gear.
Murmuring Obols aren’ttoo difficultto come by, so don’t worry that much about spending them - you can always earn more by completing some Obol farming routes or doing events consistently.
