Street Fighter 6has one of the most exciting casts of characters I’ve seen in a recent fighting game. So, of course, I had to make a self-insert-personality list for it. And what’s a more self-insertive medium than astrology?

12Aries - Kimberly
March 21 – April 29
Aries are known for their bold and ambitious nature, willing to dive into any challenging situation without hesitation.
Kimberlydoesn’t dive into challenges. Shedive-kicksinto challenges. Then she’ll wall jump across the stage and dive-kick that challengeagain.
It’s no surprise Kimberly’s an Aries. She’s a prodigy who finished college early and spends her free time breaking down complex computer code. And when she’s not doing that, she’s investigating her uncle’s murder.
11Taurus - JP
April 20 – May 20
Ah,Taurus, the sign of the bull. And you know what the bull is the sign of? Wall Street.JP’snot just a one-percenter; he’sthatone-percenter.
Like most people who could solve world hunger but never will, JP didn’t get where he is by following the rules. On the contrary, he’s a money launderer. And I guess Bison 2.0?
But, of course, JP would not want it any other way. With a Taurus’s taste for finer things, JP will do anything to fulfill his desires for wealth, power, and prosperity.
10Gemini - Lily
May 21 – June 21
Geminis are mischaracterized as two-facedbecause of the twin imagery. And as a twin, I take offense to that. (Oddly enough, my dad is a Gemini. Ironic, right?)
However, the twin metaphor conveys that Geminis are filled with so much curiosity and interest that they couldn’t be contained in a single person.
Lilyis the perfect embodiment of this sentiment. She travels everywhere with her spirit guide, Toyno’lkonoi, by her side. And her avid curiosity sends her on many adventures!
9Cancer - Ryu
June 22 – July 22
Cancers are defined by their intuition. They have this wiseness about them that’s beyond their age. Yet, to many, this sign is full of mysteries. After all, it takes a lot of trust in someone for a Cancer to let them in.

Ryumakes much more sense when you see him through the lens of the famous crab sign. (No, not because he’s dressed like a hermit in this game.) His observant nature picks up something new from every fighter he meets.
Yet, like the crab, Ryu’s hard emotional shell constantly struggles to contain the rage of the Satsui no Hado.
8Leo - Akuma
July 23 – August 22
Here’s a fun fact: no Leo is currently in Street Fighter 6’s cast, even among theYear 1 DLC. Fortunately,no one knows Akuma’s birthdate, so he’s the perfect placeholder! And like the animal Leos are based on, he now has a giant ass mane of hair for some reason.
But when you think about it, Akuma being a Leo makes sense. His name translates to an evil fire spirit in Japanese folklore (not to mention the ceaseless fire imagery whenever he has a freakin' cutscene).
And it’s pretty braggadocious to assume your nemesis’s protege will willingly give into the Satsui no Hado. Only a Leo believes their mystical evil power is better than sex. Puh-lease!
7Virgo - Manon
August 23 – September 22
Oh,Virgo, the grounded perfectionist. This sign reaches goals through methodical planning and superhuman dedication. And this systematic approach often pays off tenfold.
Look atManon. She’s an accomplished model, ballerina, and judo master. Yet, she makes everything lookeffortless.
Unfortunately, success comes with a price. The people in Manon’s life dumped so much responsibility on her because they assumed she was strong enough to handle it. Did they ask if she was okay with that? Of course, not!
6Libra - Marisa
September 23 – October 23
While some symbols misrepresent their zodiac sign,the scale embodies the Libra to a T. Libras desire harmony, balance, and equilibrium. We all know that. But you may not know that Libras highly value arts and culture.
I couldn’t think of a better Libra thanMarisa, the bisexual warrior with a heart of gold. (Yes, she’s bi. PlayWorld Tourmode before you talk smack!) She cares for everyone, romancing her lovers passionately and supporting her friends fiercely.
Her deep respect and knowledge of pankration prove her devotion to culture. And her sewing side hustle demonstrates her love and talent in the arts.
5Scorpio - Jamie
October 24 – November 21
You ever notice that when someone wants to imply you’re a jerk, they say, “Youmustbe a Scorpio.” Like,excuse you!
Everybody loves to crap on Scorpios without acknowledging how essential their forethought is. Maybe you didn’t care for how that Scorpio said your idea was terrible. But guess what. When you’re right, you’re right.
Jamieillustrates how misunderstood Scorpios are. You wouldn’t expect a Scorpio to break dance, drink during a fight, and make quippy one-liners. Indeed, he’stoo funto be a Scorpio!
But Jamie also places the welfare of his community on his shoulders, serving as peacekeeper and protector. And you may’t protect your neighborhood without considering incoming danger from every possible angle.
4Saggittarius - Dhalsim
November 22 – December 21
TheSagittarius symbol is an archer. No, not the soldier with a bow and arrow. I’m talking about thehalf-man, half-horse centaur. And like any horse-like creature, the Saggitarius constantly roams through new adventures in their pursuit of knowledge.
When I think of knowledgable and worldly, my mind goes toDhalsim, the fire-breathing yoga master. Furthermore, flexibility is another prominent Sagittarius trait. So, I mean,come on!

Several zodiac signs have wise traits or thirsts for knowledge. But Dhalsim’s journey delves deeper. This man is searching for spiritual enlightenment by using his powers for others. His travels are not confined by the physical plane.
3Capricorn - Cammy
December 22 – January 19
TheCapricorn’s symbol is the sea goat, a mythological creature with a goat’s body and a fish’s tail. There’s a whole reason behind this. But I don’t feel like getting into it, so I won’t.
“So, why isCammya sea goat?” See how that reads? How do you logic that out? My brain hurts.
What’s important to understand is thatCapricorns are resilience personified. And any Street Fighter fan knows that Cammy is pure resilience.
After she was rehabilitated from Bison’s brainwashing, Cammy could have decided to leave all that trauma behind her and live an ordinary life. She didn’t. Instead, she vowed to take down Shadaloo and all its remnants so no one would go through the pain she endured.
If you’re a Capricorn like Cammy, you’re focused on the bigger picture. Life’s about more than your ego. It’s about fighting for the greater good.
